The 2013-14 Oman First Division League (known as ''Omantel First Division League'' for sponsorship reasons) is the 38th edition of the second-highest division overall football league in Oman. The season began on 12 September 2013 and concluded on 24 April 2014. Al-Ittihad Club were the defending champions, having won their first title in the previous 2012–13 season. Oman First Division League
The Oman First Division League (known as the Omantel First Division League for sponsorship purposes) is the second-highest Association football league in Oman. Contested by 13 teams, the top 2 teams replace the bottom two in the Oman Professional League while the third-placed team has a play-off facing the third last-laced team in order to gain promotion. It is one of four divisions the Oman Football Association (Oman's main football governing body) encompasses, and has 12 teams while the Second Division and Third Division have 13 and 20 clubs each. All First Division teams are entered in the Sultan Qaboos Cup draw. Two First Division teams made the quarter-finals in 2016. The 2016-17 Oman First Division commenced on September 18. Al-Mussanah SC, Sur SC and Salalah SC were relegated to the 2016-17 Oman First Division League. Al-Wahda Sports Club ( ar, نادي الوحدة الرياضي) is an Omani sports club based in Sur, Oman. The club is currently playing in the First Division League of Oman Football Association. Their home ground is Sur Sports Complex. The stadium is government owned, but they also own their own personal stadium and sports equipment, as well as their own training facilities. Salalah
Salalah ( ar, صَلَالَة, Ṣalālah) is the capital and largest city of the southern Omani governorate of Dhofar. Its population in 2009 was about 197,169. Salalah is the third-largest city in the Sultanate of Oman, and the largest city in the Dhofar Province. Salalah is the birthplace of the former sultan, Qaboos bin Said. Salalah attracts many people from other parts of Oman and the Persian Gulf region during the monsoon/'' khareef'' season, which spans from June to September. Al Saada Sports Complex
The Al-Saada Stadium ( ar, أستاد السعادة), also known as Al-Saada Sports Complex ( ar, مجمع السعادة الرياضي) is a government owned multi-use stadium in the Al-Saada district of Salalah, Oman. The stadium is used only for football matches and is the home stadium of Salalah-based clubs Dhofar, and Al-Nasr. The stadium has originally had a capacity of an estimated 12,000 people, but due to renovation in 2010 the stadium became an all-seater decreasing the maximum capacity to an estimated 8-9,000 spectators. Although being opened officially in 2009, the stadium ever since has been undergoing renovation, and because of protest from the football community in the city because of the unexpected outcome, the stadium has undergone a plan to eventually house close to 20,000 spectators. Al-Seeb, As Seeb or As Sib ( ar, السيب) is a coastal fishing city, located several kilometres northwest of Muscat, in northeastern Oman. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 470,878.
