2013–14 FK Baku Season
The FK Baku, Baku 2013-14 season was Baku's sixteenth Azerbaijan Premier League season. They competed in the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Premier League, finishing 5th, and reached the Quarterfinals of the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Cup where they were defeated by Ravan Baku FK, Ravan Baku. It was Milinko Pantićs first season as manager, having replaced Božidar Bandović on 14 June after Bandović left his position at the end of the 2012–13 FK Baku season, 2012-13 season. FK Baku
FC Baku (), founded as Dinamo Baku in 1997, was an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku that had been an amateur club since 2016. Prior to that, Baku played 18 seasons in the Azerbaijan Premier League, winning the championship twice and the National Cup three times. The club ceased operations in 2018. History Early years (1997–2004) Led by Shamil Heydarov, Dinamo finished 2nd and entered the 1998–99 UEFA Cup, but was eliminated by Argeş Piteşti 1–7 on aggregate in the preliminary round. In the 1997–98 season, Dinamo appointed Ruslan Abdullayev as their new head coach. Under the management of Abdullayev, the team passed the first part of the tournament well, although 3rd place and 52 points were not enough for medals or European cups, and Dinamo finished the season in 6th place. Aqil Mammadov
Agil Mammadov (born 1 May 1989 in Nakhchivan) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Neftchi Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League. Career Club Mammadov played for FK Baku in a qualifier for the 2008–09 UEFA Champions League. On 4 December 2014, Mammadov left FK Baku after not being paid by the club. Wilson Aparecido Xavier Júnior (born 15 March 1984), commonly known as Juninho, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ihan. Javid Huseynov (; born 9 March 1988) is an Azerbaijani football manager and former player. Career Huseynov was born in Jabrayil, Soviet Union.
