2013 USC Trojans Football Team
The 2013 USC Trojans football team represented the University of Southern California in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS college football season. They played their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and were members of the South Division of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 10–4, 6–3 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for second place in the South Division. They were invited to the Las Vegas Bowl where they defeated Fresno State. Head coach Lane Kiffin, who was in his fourth year, was fired on September 29 after a 3–2 start to the season. He was replaced by interim head coach Ed Orgeron. At the end of the regular season, Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian was hired as the new head coach beginning in 2014. This prompted Orgeron to resign before the bowl game. Lane Kiffin
Lane Monte Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. Kiffin formerly was the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans football team from 2005 to 2006, head coach of the National Football League's Oakland Raiders from 2007 to 2008, head coach of the University of Tennessee Volunteers college football team in 2009, and head coach of the Trojans from 2010 to 2013. Tommie Robinson
Tommie Robinson (born April 4, 1963) is an American football coach who was most recently the running backs coach at Texas A&M University. Playing career Robinson was a three-year starter at strong safety for the Trojans. There he was a player on the 1984 Division II national championship team under Chan Gailey. Coaching career High school coaching Robinson began his coaching career at the high school level beginning in 1986 as an assistant at Woodham High School in Pensacola, Florida. James Cregg (born August 18, 1973) is an American football coach who is an assistant offensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers. He previously was the offensive line coach at LSU.
