2013 Philadelphia Eagles Season
The 2013 season was the Philadelphia Eagles' 81st in the National Football League (NFL) and their first under head coach Chip Kelly. The Eagles improved on their 4–12 record from 2012, finishing 10–6 and clinching the NFC East division title and the playoffs for the first time since 2010, but after a close game, they lost on a last-second field goal to the New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, by a score of 26–24. The season was noted for LeSean McCoy winning the NFL rushing title, and the extremely successful season by Nick Foles where he produced 27 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions. NFC East
The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It has four members: the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders. The division was formed in 1967 as the National Football League Capitol Division and acquired its current name in 1970 following the AFL-NFL merger. 2012 Philadelphia Eagles Season
The 2012 season was the Philadelphia Eagles' 80th in the National Football League (NFL), their 14th and final season under head coach Andy Reid, and their 10th playing home games at Lincoln Financial Field. Despite starting the season 3–1, the team would massively struggle, the team failed to improve on their 8–8 record from 2011, and went 1–11 in their final 12 games en route to a 4–12 record, their worst record since 1998 when they won only three games and also finished with a losing record for the first time since 2005. Additionally, their four wins were not only by less than three points each, but all four of them had their deciding scores being acquired after the two-minute warnings. Bill Davis (born November 5, 1965) is an American football coach who is the linebackers coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). A 27-year NFL coach, Davis has coached linebackers for 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), with the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns. Patrick Carl Shurmur (born April 14, 1965) is an American football coach who serves as the offensive coordinator at the Colorado Buffaloes football team, University of Colorado. Prior to joining the staff at Colorado, he most recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL) from 2020 to 2021. 2013 Washington Redskins Season
The 2013 season was the Washington Redskins' 82nd in the National Football League (NFL). They failed to improve on their 10–6 regular season record from 2012, and suffered through a 3–13 season, which was the worst record that the team had posted since 1994, resulting in the firing of head coach Mike Shanahan and most of his staff after four seasons. The 2013 Redskins were notable for having one of the worst special teams units in league history, and this played a major role in several of their losses. Football Outsiders listed the 2013 Redskins as having the second-worst special teams unit they had ever tracked. While not at the time, this team would go on to be known for its coaching staff. Matthew Montgomery Barkley (born September 8, 1990) is an American professional football quarterback. He played college football for the USC Trojans, setting set the Pac-12 Conference season record for touchdown passes as a junior. Andrew Walter Reid (born March 19, 1958) is an American professional American football, football coach who is the head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
