The 2013 National Football League (Ireland), National Football League known for sponsorship reasons as the Allianz National Football League was the 82nd staging of the National Football League (Ireland), National Football League (NFL), an annual Gaelic football tournament for the Gaelic Athletic Association county teams of Ireland. The League began on Saturday 1 February 2014. Thirty-one Gaelic football county teams from the island of Ireland, plus London GAA, London, participated. Stephen Cluxton
Stephen Cluxton (born 17 December 1981) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a goalkeeper at senior level for the Dublin county team. Cluxton made his senior debut for Dublin during the 2001 Championship. Since then he has established himself as Dublin's first-choice goalkeeper. Along with Mick Fitzsimons and James McCarthy, Cluxton holds the record of most All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals, with nine medals, beginning with wins in 2011 and 2013, and including six championships in a row from 2015 to 2020. The 2012 All-Ireland Football Championship final, the 125th event of its kind and the culmination of the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, was played at Croke Park, Dublin, on 23 September 2012. Donegal and Mayo, widely considered "one of the most novel final pairings of all time", met to decide the destination of the Sam Maguire Cup, with Donegal ultimately emerging victorious as Mayo were yet again undone by "the curse". Dublin were the defending champions after defeating Kerry by a single point, 1–12 to 1–11, in the 2011 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final. Páirc Esler ( , ; also ) is a GAA stadium in Newry, County Down. It is the home of the Down Gaelic football and hurling teams and the Newry Shamrocks GAA club. Jack McCaffrey (born 19 October 1993) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for Clontarf GAA, Clontarf. Early and personal life His father Noel McCaffrey, Noel also represented Dublin in football.
