2013 Molde FK Season
The 2013 season was Molde's sixth consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 37th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. It was Ole Gunnar Solskjær's third season as the club's manager. Molde were the defending champions in Tippeligaen, but lost their first four matches in the league and collected six points in the first ten games. The team did however turn the bad form, and finished the season in sixth place. The team won the 2013 Norwegian Football Cup, after defeating their main rivals Rosenborg 4–2 in the final. In Europe, Molde entered the UEFA Champions League in the second qualifying round, where they defeated Sligo Rovers. In the next round, the team was eliminated by Legia Warszawa on away goals. Molde Fotballklubb () is a professional football club based in Molde, Norway, that competes in Eliteserien, the top flight of Norwegian football. Founded on 19 June 1911, the club was originally known as International and changed its name to Molde in 1915. Molde are five-time league champions (2011, 2012, 2014, 2019 & 2022) and five-time Norwegian Cup winners (1994, 2005, 2013, 2014 and 2021), and have finished second in the league a further nine times. Jo Inge Berget (born 11 September 1990) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a forward. He has played professionally in his homeland, Italy, Wales, Scotland, Sweden and the United States, and made his debut for the Norway national team in 2012. Club career Early career Berget started his career at Lyn and played twice before left the club. He signed a reported three-year contract with Udinese in July 2008. The club also signed team-mate Odion Ighalo and they started out playing in the Primavera U20 team. In March 2009, he was loaned back to Lyn until 2 August. Magnus Wolff Eikrem (born 8 August 1990) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays for Molde FK in Eliteserien. His regular playing position is in attacking midfield, though he can play anywhere across the midfield. Career Early years Born in Molde, Eikrem began his football career as a 12-year-old with his local club, Molde FK. He was picked up after he attended one of Ole Gunnar Solskjær's soccer schools in Norway, despite the schools being for youngsters aged 14–16. Joona Toivio (born 10 March 1988) is a Finnish footballer who plays as a defender for Veikkausliiga club HJK. He has previously played for Klubi 04, AZ, Telstar, Molde, Djurgården, and Termalica Nieciecza. Club career Early career Earlier in his career, he was training with HJK's first team before he had a trial at Manchester United. Though this proved unsuccessful, he later signed for AZ. Agnaldo Pinto de Moraes Júnior, commonly known as Moraes Jr. or Agnaldo Moraes (born 11 March 1994), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Albanian club Skënderbeu. Aliou Coly (born 10 December 1992) is a Senegalese footballer playing as a defender for Jerv in the OBOS-ligaen. Career Club Early career Aliou Coly started playing football for Casa Sports in Senegal. In 2012, Coly went on trial with Tippeligaen side Sogndal, where his age was quoted as being 23. Daniel Berg Hestad (born 30 July 1975) is a Norwegian football manager and a former player, who played as a central midfielder, most notably for Molde.
