Major League Gaming Corp. (MLG) was a professional esports organization based in New York City. Founded in 2002 by Sundance DiGiovanni and Mike Sepso, MLG held official video game tournaments throughout the United States and Canada. The ''Boost Mobile MLG Pro Circuit'' was a television broadcast of ''Halo 2'' MLG tournaments in 2006 and 2007, ESPN.com, and other broadband sites. The company has also been involved in television production, and game development. MLG's aim was to elevate computer and console game tournaments to viable competitive and spectator events. Jason Sheldon Zimmerman (born February 5, 1989), known by his gamertag Mew2King, commonly shortened to M2K, is an American former professional '' Super Smash Bros.'' player from Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Team Curse
Team Curse, also known as Curse eSports, was a North American esports organization sponsored by Curse, Inc. and based in Los Angeles. Formed as a ''League of Legends'' team in 2010 by Steve "LiQuiD112" Arhancet, it was acquired by Curse Inc. in August 2011, and the team renamed to Team Curse. On April 15, 2014, Arhancet announced that he had purchased the esports arm of the Curse Inc., which from then on was an organization entire separated from Curse, Inc., although they were still the title sponsor of the new Curse eSports brand. Marie-Laure Norindr (born 17 June 1991 in Paris), also known as Kayane (), is a French esports player and journalist. She specializes in fighting games, in particular in the '' Dead or Alive'', '' Soulcalibur'' and '' Street Fighter'' series, and has been playing competitively since 2001. Dignitas is an American esports organization based in Newark, New Jersey. It was founded by Michael "ODEE" O'Dell in 2003 as a merger of two ''Battlefield 1942'' Clan (computer gaming), clans. TSM League Of Legends Division
The ''League of Legends'' division of TSM was a gaming team based in Los Angeles, California, that competed in the League Championship Series (LCS), the top-level professional league for video game ''League of Legends'' in the United States and Canada, from 2013 to 2023. The organization sold their LCS franchise slot in 2023. Established in 2011, the ''League of Legends'' division was the founding division of Team SoloMid.
