2013 LFF I Lyga
The 2013 I Lyga (also known as ''LFF I Lyga'') is the 24th season of the I Lyga, the second-tier association football league of Lithuania. The season started on 8 April 2013 and end is planned for 24 September 2013. Changes from 2013 The league changed its number of teams, increasing it from 10 teams in 2012 I Lyga to 12 teams in 2013. Two teams of 2012 resigned – FK Granitas Vilnius and NFA Kaunas (replaced by FM Spyris Kaunas), and another two were relegated – FK Venta Kuršėnai and FK Kėdainiai. From LFF II lyga were admitted 5 teams – 3 from zone South (FK Žalgiris-3 Vilnius, FK Šilas Kazlų Rūda and FM Spyris Kaunas) and 2 from zone West (FK Lokomotyvas Radviliškis and FK Klaipėdos Granitas). A newly created team of FK Baltija Panevėžys was also allowed to start at I lyga in 2013. I Lyga
The I Lyga, LFF I Lyga, Pirma Lyga, is the second tier of professional Lithuanian football championship. Format Organized by the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF), I Lyga is contested by 14-16 teams, with the top team gaining promotion to A Lyga and replaced by the lowest-placed team in top division and the bottom 4 clubs being relegated to the II Lyga. Starting with the 2016 season, the second-placed team qualifies to promotion play-offs with A Lyga's next-to-last team. The final list of participants often does not correlate to the final results of the previous season, as the participation is finalized through the Lithuanian Football Federation league licensing process. Palanga
Palanga (; bat-smg, Palonga; pl, Połąga; german: Polangen) is a seaside resort town in western Lithuania, on the shore of the Baltic Sea. Kėdainiai
Kėdainiai () is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania. It is located north of Kaunas on the banks of the Nevėžis River. First mentioned in the 1372 Livonian Chronicle of Hermann de Wartberge, its population is 23,667. Its old town dates to the 17th century. The city is the administrative centre of the Kėdainiai District Municipality. Radviliškis
Radviliškis () (german: Radwilischken; pl, Radziwiliszki; yi, ראדווילישאָק, ''Radvilishok'') is a town in the Radviliškis district municipality, Šiauliai County, Lithuania. Radviliškis has been the administrative center of the district since 1950, and is an important railway junction. History Radviliškis was founded at the end of the 15th century. It was first mentioned in the book on state economics by M. Downar-Zapolsky listing the towns taxpayers in 1567. Jonava ( ; pl, Janów; german: Janau) is the ninth largest city in Lithuania with a population of . FK Palanga
FK Palanga was a professional football club based in Palanga, Lithuania. The team competes in the A Lyga, the top division of Lithuanian football in 2018 and 2019 seasons. History FK Palanga was founded in 2010 and introduced its first team to the third tier Antra Lyga in 2011. FK Palanga started off strong and won this championship in the first year with no defeats. As a result of their victory, they were promoted in 2012 to the Primera Lyga (second tier). FK Palanga plateaued for the next three years, sitting at the bottom of each standing.
