2013 Italian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2013 Italian motorcycle Grand Prix was the fifth round of the 2013 MotoGP season. It was held at the Mugello Circuit in Scarperia on 2 June 2013. Jorge Lorenzo took the victory, ahead of pole sitter Dani Pedrosa, and Cal Crutchlow. Valentino Rossi and Álvaro Bautista collided on lap 1, the barriers being torn apart on impact, and Marc Márquez slid wide into the gravel trap with 3 laps to go, suffering his first MotoGP retirement, whilst riding in a comfortable second place. Álex Rins Navarro (born 8 December 1995) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer for the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team in the MotoGP class. He was the 2011 CEV Buckler 125 Junior GP Champion, and made his Grand Prix motorcycle racing debut in the Moto3 World Championship during the season. Career Moto3 World Championship Born in Barcelona, Rins began his career in Moto3 with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team. In his second meeting, Rins took pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle and Scooter (motorcycle), scooter manufacturer in Noale, Italy, founded by Alberto Beggio. Aleix Espargaró Villà (; born 30 July 1989) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Grand Prix motorcycle racer. Nicky Hayden
Nicholas Patrick Hayden (July 30, 1981 May 22, 2017), nicknamed "The Kentucky Kid", was an American professional motorcycle racer who won the MotoGP World Championship in 2006. Hayden began racing motorcycles at a young age. He began his road racing career in the CMRA before progressing to the AMA Supersport Championship and then to the AMA Superbike Championship. He won the AMA title in 2002 and was approached by the Repsol Honda team to race for them in MotoGP in 2003. Hayden largely had mixed results in his first 2 seasons at Repsol Honda only getting 4 podiums. Stefan Bradl (born 29 November 1989) is a German professional motorcycle racer, best known for winning the Moto2 World Championship in . He then moved to MotoGP in 2012 with LCR Honda.
