2013 FAI Cup
The 2013 FAI Senior Challenge Cup, also known as the 2013 FAI Ford Senior Cup, was the 93rd season of the national football competition of the Republic of Ireland. The winners of the competition earned a spot in the first qualifying round of the 2014-15 UEFA Europa League. A total of 40 teams are competing in the 2013 competition, which commenced on the weekend ending on 31 March 2013. The teams entered from the 2013 League of Ireland Premier Division and First Division received byes into the second round stage. Four non-league clubs also received byes to the second round. The remaining 12 teams entered at the first round stage. These non-league teams are composed of the sixteen clubs, which reached the fourth round of the 2012–13 FAI Intermediate Cup and the seni-finalists of the FAI Junior Cup 2012-13. Seán Gleeson (born 18 February) is an English actor, director and producer, known for his roles as Conor Flaherty in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' and Ronnie Woodson in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. As well as acting, Gleeson also works as a director and producer, with credits on ''Doctors'', ''Casualty'' and ''Holby City''. Life and career In 1997, Gleeson began portraying the role of Conor Flaherty in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''. He stayed in the role until 1999, and in 2003, he joined the cast of the BBC soap opera ''Doctors'' as Ronnie Woodson. While on ''Doctors'', he began a relationship with co-star Stirling Gallacher, who portrayed the role of George Woodson, his on-screen wife. Peter Rogers (20 February 1914 – 14 April 2009) was an English film producer. He is best known for his involvement in the making of the ''Carry On'' series of films. Life and career Rogers began his career as a journalist for his local paper, before graduating to scriptwriting religious informational films. He progressed to film production, working with director Gerald Thomas, the first work being a production for the Children's Film Foundation. Rogers is best known as producer of the ''Carry On'' series of British comedy films, beginning with '' Carry On Sergeant'' in 1958. There were 31 films in all. Rogers had also been linked with a further instalment, ''Carry On London'', which has been in pre-production for several years, but since his death seems unlikely to be made. Noel Murray (footballer)
Marie and Noel Murray were an anarchist married couple who were among the last people to be sentenced to death in the Republic of Ireland. The couple were convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death in June 1976 for the murder of Garda Michael Reynolds the previous September. The sentences led to an outcry and a campaign to stop the executions received international attention. The sentences were quashed and the pair were convicted of common murder. They were both released in 1992. Biographies Marie and Noel Murray were both activists with a history of involvement in left-wing and republican politics. Both had been members of Sinn Féin. Keith Dunne
Keith Dunne (born 10 February 1982) is an Irish footballer. Dunne is a versatile right sided winger who can play on either wing and he also has experience playing as a striker. Career Keith was born in Dublin and played with junior side, Verona, before moving to the United States to take up a place on a soccer scholarship in 1999. There, he played college football in Atlanta, before returning home to Dublin where he played with another junior club, Ashtown Villa. Keith was quickly snapped up by then St. Patrick's Athletic manager, Eamon Collins in March 2003, and made a number of appearances for the Saints over three seasons in the Premier Division.
