2013 DBL Playoffs
The 2013 DBL Playoffs were the final phase of the 2012–13 Dutch Basketball League. It started on 17 April and ended on 23 May 2013. EiffelTowers Den Bosch were the defending champions. ZZ Leiden won the playoffs and its third championship. Aris Leeuwarden, who featured in their first finals ever, finished as runners-up. 2012–13 Dutch Basketball League
The 2012–13 Dutch Basketball League was the 53rd season of the Dutch Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands. Peter Van Paassen
Peter van Paassen (born 20 December 1978) is a former Dutch basketball player. Van Paassen played for multiple teams in Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands. Michael Anthony "Mike" Schachtner (born November 19, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League. Mike Nardi (born January 30, 1985) is an American basketball coach and former player. He attended St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey and Villanova University. Hendrik "Henry" Bekkering (born November 26, 1985) is a Canadian former professional basketball player who holds a Dutch passport as well. Worthy Donovan Rafael de Jong (born 14 March 1988) is a Dutch 3x3 basketball player and former professional 5x5 player. Ross Bekkering (born August 19, 1987) is a former Canadian-Dutch professional basketball player. Bekkering played in the Dutch Basketball League. Bekkering is the younger brother of Henry Bekkering, who was a professional basketball player as well. He played collegiately for Calgary, where he played five years. Arvin Slagter (born 19 September 1985) is a Dutch basketball player who plays for the Netherlands men's national 3x3 team. Matrixx Magixx
Matrixx Magixx was a professional basketball team based in Nijmegen and later Wijchen. The club played in the Dutch Basketball League (DBL), the Dutch top-tier league. Home games of the Magixx were played in Sporthal De Arcus since 2012, therefore De Horstacker was used. The long time main sponsor of the team was The Matrixx. In 2014, Magixx departed from the DBL after the club could not find funding. Founded as a new team from Nijmegen after the departure of Nijmegen, the club played in the DBL for nine straight seasons.
