2013 Clio Cup China Series
The 2013 Clio Cup China Series is a multi-event, one make motor racing championship held across China. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing drivers and gentlemen drivers in the region, competing in a Clio Renault Sport 200 that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. This season will be the 5th Clio Cup China Series season. The season started on 9 June at Shanghai Tianma Circuit and concluded on 13 October at Zhuhai International Circuit after 10 races to be held at 5 meetings. 4 race meetings were in support of the 2013 China Touring Car Championship The China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) is a touring car racing series based in China. Clio Cup China Series
Clio Cup China Series is a one-make series held in China that featured Renault Clio since 2009. Originally begun by Renault Sport in Europe, managed and organized by Formula Racing Development (FRD) in China, the Clio Cup China Series is a one-make racing series featuring the Clio supermini car. Over the years, many experienced drivers from the region joined the race and even Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok Aaron Kwok Fu-shing (born 26 October 1965) is a Hong Kong singer, dancer and actor. The Clio Renault Sport (or Clio RS for short) is a hot hatch produced since 1998 by Renault Sport, the high-performance division of French automaker Renault. It is based on the Clio supermini. The engine remained the same since the first Clio RS, a 2.0-litre straight-4 petrol engine, with an FF layout and a three-door hatchback body style. Zhuhai International Circuit
Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) (simplified Chinese: 珠海国际赛车场; traditional Chinese: ) is located at Jin Ding town in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, China. Motorsport started in Zhuhai when it hosted a race on its street circuit in 1993. Racing continued there until 1996 when the motor racing circuit was constructed and became China's first permanent motor race track with Formula One in mind. The circuit was designed by Australian company Kinhill Engineers Pty Ltd, the same group which created the Formula One circuit in Adelaide. The project manager for the project was Michael McDonough. Chengdu Goldenport Circuit () also known as Chengdu International Circuit in English, was a permanent circuit in Shi Sheng Road, Jin Jiang, 610023 Chengdu, People's Republic of China. It held a round of Asian Touring Car Series (ATCS), Formula V6 Asia in 2007 and 2008. On August 26 2008, the circuit was confirmed to be hosting a round of the 2008-09 A1 Grand Prix season. "Kenneth" Lau Chi Yung (born 6 June 1960) is a Hong Kong racing driver and businessman currently competing in the TCR Asia Series and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. Having previously competed in the Asian Touring Car Series, Clio Cup China Series and Hong Kong Touring Car Championship amongst others. Racing career Lau began his career in 2004 in the Asian Formula Renault Series. He raced in the series for many years, finishing 8th in the Masters standings in 2014. "Kenneth" Ma Hon Wah (born 24 March 1960) is a Hong Kong racing driver currently competing in the TCR Asia Series. Having previously competed in the Clio Cup China Series and Asian Formula Renault Series among others. Racing career Ma began his career in 2000 in the Formula 2000 Asia, finishing the season 7th in the standings. He was switched to the Asian Formula Renault Series in 2004, racing in the series for many years before switching to the Asian GT Championship in 2008. In 2009, he was switched to the Clio Cup China Series, finishing 2nd in the standings in 2014. In 2012, he raced in the Malaysia Super Series. Naomi Schiff (born 18 May 1994) is a Rwandan and Belgian racing driver and television presenter. She was born in Belgium, to a Belgian father and Rwandan mother, grew up in South Africa, and now lives in the United Kingdom.
