2013 Chatham Cup
The 2013 ASB Chatham Cup was New Zealand's 86th knockout football competition. The 2013 competition had a qualification round and four rounds proper, before quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. Competition was run in three regions (Northern, Central, Southern) until the quarter-finals, from which stage the draw was open. In all, 132 teams entered the competition. Cashmere Technical took an early lead in the 5th minute when Julyan Collett was fouled in the penalty area and Danny Boys sent Waitakere City goalkeeper Eamon Goodin the wrong way. The lead was short lived when just 10 minutes later, Cashmere conceded their first and what would be their only goal of the whole campaign. English Park
English Park is a football (soccer), football stadium in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is the home stadium of Canterbury United, which competes in the ASB Premiership, as well as Western AFC which currently compete in the Mainland Premier League. The stadium has a capacity of approximately 3,000 people. English Park was used for cycle racing. For example, races were held in December 1927 and February 1928 to raise funds for Harry Watson (cyclist), Harry Watson so that he could compete in the 1928 Tour de France as part of the Australasian Ravat-Wonder-Dunlop cycling team; Watson was the first New Zealander to compete in the Tour de France. South Auckland Rangers is an association football club in New Zealand, affiliated to Northern Region Football. The club play at the brand new Rongomai Park in Manukau, Auckland. The team are regular entrants to the Chatham Cup, their best performance coming in 1995, when they reached the Fifth Round (last 16 stage). History The club started as the Otara Rangers in 1973. Beachlands Maraetai AFC is a football club based in Beachlands, New Zealand. They currently play in the NRFL Northern Conference. History The club finished second in the NRF Championship in both 2017 and 2018, losing the promotion playoff games both years. Te Awamutu is a town in the Waikato, Waikato region in the North Island of New Zealand. Papatoetoe AFC is an amateur football club based in Papatoetoe, New Zealand. They currently compete in the NRF Championship, however, have enjoyed successful spells at the top of the New Zealand game, namely in the former National League, and having won two NRFL Premier League crowns. History Papatoetoe AFC was founded in 1959 through the efforts of Ken Hastings. Northland FC is a football club based in Whangārei, New Zealand. They currently compete in the NRFL Northern Conference. North Force was set up late in 2003 by Kamo & Tikipunga Football clubs so that a combined team could be entered in either the US1 Federation League or the Northern Federations Football League, and to create a pathway for players to compete at the highest possible levels. Ranui Swanson Football Club is an amateur football club in West Auckland, New Zealand. Ranui are officially partnered with former Sunday League side, Colo Boys FC, who after the NRF League One team's fell over in 2023, took over.
