2013 CAF Beach Soccer Championship
The 2013 CAF Beach Soccer Championship took place from 22 May to 26 May 2013, in El Jadida, Morocco, for the first time. It is the second time in Morocco, following Casablanca hosting the previous qualification tournament in 2011. It was originally scheduled for 10–14 April and then for 29 May - 2 June 2013. The two finalists of the championship qualified for the 2013 World Cup and went on to represent Africa in Tahiti in September. All matches were held at the Mazagan Beach Resort in El Jadida. 2011 CAF Beach Soccer Championship
The 2011 CAF Beach Soccer Championship were the qualifiers for African national beach soccer teams to determine the two teams that qualify for the 2011 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. They took place from 15–19 June 2011 at a temporary stadium at the Ain Diab beach in Casablanca, Morocco for the first time. All previous CAF qualifiers were held in Durban, South Africa. 2015 CAF Beach Soccer Championship
The 2015 CAF Beach Soccer Championship, also known as the 2015 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations, was a beach soccer tournament which took place in Roche Caiman, Seychelles on 14–19 April 2015. This was the first time that the CAF Beach Soccer Championship was held in Seychelles. All matches were played at the Roche Caiman Sports Complex. As well as crowning the best beach soccer nation in Africa, the tournament served as the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualifier for teams from Africa which are members of CAF, where the top two teams qualified for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Portugal. In the final, Madagascar defeated Senegal to be crowned champions, and both teams qualified for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. CAF Beach Soccer Championship
The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (BSAFCON) is the beach soccer tournament of Africa, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Launched in 2006, the winners of each edition qualifies for African nations to the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Coinciding with the annual staging of the World Cup, the competition took place yearly until 2009; the World Cup then became biennial, and as its supplementary qualification event, the championship followed suit. El Jadida
El Jadida (, ) is a major port city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, located south of the city of Casablanca, in the province of El Jadida and the region of Casablanca-Settat. 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the seventh edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Overall, this was the 17th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the '' Beach Soccer World Championships'' which ran from 1995–2004 but was not governed by FIFA. It took place from 18–28 September 2013 at Tahua To'ata Stadium (Stade Tahua To'ata) in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia and was the fourth tournament to have taken place outside Brazil. This was the second tournament to take place since the establishment of a longer two-year cycle of tournaments.
