2013 Arizona Rattlers Season
The Arizona Rattlers season was the 22nd season for the franchise Arena Football League, coming off of their victory in ArenaBowl XXV. The team was coached by Kevin Guy and played their home games at the US Airways Center. With a 15–3 record, the Rattlers won their fourth consecutive division title to qualify for the playoffs. The Rattlers successfully defended their championship in ArenaBowl XXVI by once again defeating the Philadelphia Soul by a 48–39 score to win their fourth ArenaBowl championship in franchise history. Final roster Standings Regular season schedule The Rattlers began the season at home against the Philadelphia Soul on March 23 in a rematch of ArenaBowl XXV. They closed the regular season on the road against the Iowa Barnstormers on July 27. Kevin Guy
Kevin Guy (born December 6, 1972) is an arena football coach and former wide receiver and defensive back who is the head coach for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played his college football at the University of West Alabama, and was an AFL wide receiver and defensive back from 1996 to 1999. He has been a football coach since 2000, and first served as a head coach in 2000 as the interim head coach for the New Jersey Red Dogs. After being the defensive coordinator for the San Jose SaberCats from 2006 to 2007, he became the Rattlers head coach in 2008. In 2018, his wife Cathy became co-owner of a new Tucson-based IFL franchise, called the Tucson Sugar Skulls, set to play in 2019. Jeremy Kellem
Jeremy Kellem (born June 6, 1989) is an American football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Middle Tennessee State University and attended Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He has also been a member of the New Orleans VooDoo and Omaha Nighthawks. College career Kellem played from 2007 to 2010 with the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. Virgil Carl Gray (born March 7, 1984) is an arena football defensive back who is a free agent. He played college football for the University of Rhode Island. Early life Gray attended Therrell High School in Atlanta, Georgia and was a student and a standout in football and basketball. In football, he was a three-year letterman, and as a senior, he served as a team captain and was an All-City selection. Gray graduated in 2002. Marquis Floyd (born March 17, 1980) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League for the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys. Tyre Glasper (born April 14, 1987) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and attended Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, Michigan. Clifford Dukes (born June 26, 1981) is an American arena football defensive lineman who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Michigan State from 2000 to 2004. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2005. Dukes has also been a member of the New Orleans Saints.
