2012–13 Regional Super50
The 2012–13 Regional Super50 is the domestic Limited overs cricket, one-day cricket competition in the West Indies. This edition of the Regional Super50 tournament will feature the six permanent First-class cricket, first-class regions of the West Indies along with the Combined Campuses and Colleges cricket team, Combined Campuses and Colleges team. The tournament will consist of a round-robin group stage followed by two semi-final matches for the top four finishers with the winners advancing to the final. West Indies Cricket Board
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly Commonwealth Caribbean, English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. Peter John Nero (born 27 June 1964) is a cricket umpire from Trinidad and Tobago. Umpiring career Nero made his List A-cricket debut as an umpire in 2007, and his first-class umpiring debut the year after. Quinton Boatswain
Quinton Hubert Boatswain (born 16 October 1990) is a West Indian cricketer from Montserrat. Boatswain is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He is a member of the Leeward Islands cricket team. Career In January 2008, Montserrat were invited to take part in the 2008 Stanford 20/20, whose matches held official Twenty20 status. Ronsford Beaton
Ronsford Rodwick Beaton (born 17 September 1992) is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for the Guyanese national side in West Indian domestic cricket, and also for the Trinbago Knight Riders franchise in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He is a right-arm fast bowler. Domestic career Beaton was born on the island of Montserrat, but moved to Guyana as a child, and was raised in the village of Reliance, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. He attended high school in Georgetown, at the Abram Zuil Secondary School, and later went on to the Guyana School of Agriculture. Beaton played for the West Indies under-19s at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup in Australia, and finished third in his team's wicket-taking. Joel Wilson (umpire)
Joel Sheldon Wilson (born 30 December 1966) is a Trinidadian international cricket umpire from Trinidad and Tobago. Wilson is a former member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, who represented the West Indies. He stands in matches of all the three formats of international cricket – Tests, One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Umpiring career Wilson was one of the twenty umpires during the 2015 Cricket World Cup hosted by Australia and New Zealand. Antigua
Antigua ( ; ), also known as Waladli or Wadadli by the local population, is an island in the Lesser Antilles. Sir Vivian Richards Stadium
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is a stadium in North Sound, Saint George, Antigua and Barbuda. It was built for use in the 2007 Cricket World Cup where it hosted Super 8 matches. The stadium usually caters for 10,000 people, but temporary seating doubled its capacity for the 2007 World Cup. The stadium is named after former West Indies cricket captain Viv Richards. Location The stadium is about 10–20 minutes' drive from the capital city, St. John's, and the country's international airport. Christopher Dion Barnwell (born 6 January 1987) is a West Indian former cricketer who played first-class and List A cricket for Guyana. A Guyana born all-rounder, Barnwell is better known for his clever bowling, but is also a useful pinch hitter in the limited overs format. Barnwell made his T20I debut for West Indies on 21 April 2011 in the home series against Pakistan. He also played in the one-off T20 match against India on 4 June 2011, in which he scored an unbeaten 34 off just 16 deliveries and also took his maiden T20I wicket.
