2012–13 Lithuanian Football Cup
The 2012–13 Lithuanian Football Cup was the 24th season of the Lithuanian annual Association football, football knock-out tournament. The competition started on 15 June 2012 with the matches of the first round and ended with the final on 19 May 2013, when VMFD Žalgiris Vilnius, Žalgiris Vilnius defeated FK Šiauliai, FC Šiauliai in penalty kicks. Žalgris qualified for the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League#First qualifying round, first qualifying round of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League. First round These matches were played around 15 June 2012. FK Kruoja Pakruojis
FK Kruoja Pakruojis was a Lithuanian football club from the city of Pakruojis. The team first played in the A Lyga, Lithuania's top football division, in 2009. They were promoted after FBK Kaunas and Atlantas Klaipėda voluntarily withdrew. The team's colours are yellow and blue. The club plays at Pakruojis stadium (capacity 2000). In August 2015, Kruoja withdrew from A Lyga and dissolved due to recurring allegations of match fixing, among other reasons. Marko Rašo (born 25 July 1989) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Rašo's debut for NK Zadar's senior squad was at the age of 17 in the second Croatian division (2.HNL) against Čakovec. Vedran Gerc (born 14 February 1986) is a Croatian footballer who plays for Orijent 1919 in the Croatian Second Football League. Andrius Skerla
Andrius Skerla (born 29 April 1977) is a Lithuanian professional football manager and former player who played as a defender. He is the manager of A Lyga club Hegelmann. He began his career in Lithuania with Žalgiris Vilnius, where his performances drew the attention of Dutch club PSV. After making only 25 appearances for PSV, Skerla was signed by Dunfermline Athletic in 2000. He spent five seasons with the club playing in almost 200 matches for the Pars, including the 2004 Scottish Cup Final where he scored in the 3–1 defeat against Celtic. FK Banga Gargždai is a Lithuanian professional association football, football club from the city of Gargždai. History FK Banga was founded in 1966. During the period from 1966 to 1990, the club was in the Soviet Lithuanian football championship. From 1990, they played in the Lithuanian championship. From 1994 to 2001, they were in the top tier. FK Ekranas
Panevėžio Ekranas is a Lithuanian football club, from the city of Panevėžys. It won 7 top-tier champion and 5 national cup titles throughout its existence. History The club was founded in 1964 and for 24 years competed in the top tier of Lithuanian football. However, at the end of 2014 season the club ran into financial difficulties, failed to meet admission criteria to A Lyga for the 2015 season and was subsequently declared bankrupt.
