2012–13 Gabala FC Season
The Gabala FC 2012–13 season is Gabala's eighth season and seventh Azerbaijan Premier League season. They started the season under manager Fatih Kavlak, who was sacked on 24 September 2012 following a poor run of results and was replaced by Ramiz Mammadov. Mammadov was himself sacked on 2 April 2013 following 5 games without a win, with reserve team manager Luis Aragon taking over in a Caretaker role. Gabala also competed in the Azerbaijan Cup, entering at the Last 16 stage and beating Qaradağ before being eliminated in the Quarterfinals by Qarabağ. Gabala Football Club ( az, Qəbələ Futbol Klubu ), also spelled Qabala, is an Azerbaijani association football club representing Qabala in the Azerbaijan Premier League since 2006. Gabala has been the runner up in the Premier League three times and has won the national cup once, in 2019. Gabala is one of the 2 teams that started the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League for 2 seasons and managed to move on to the group stage. History The club was founded under the name of ''Goy Gol'' on 3 July 1995, based in Goy Gol. On 1 September 2005, Goy Gol was registered in Gabala by the Ministry of Justice, before the AFFA registered the team as professional on 5 September of the same year. Urfan Abbasov ( az, Ürfan Abbasov; born 14 October 1992) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a left back for Gabala FK in the Azerbaijan Premier League, and the Azerbaijan national team. FC Steaua București
FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders ( Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. Ifeanyi Innocenti Emeghara (born 24 March 1984) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He was deployed equally on the left and the right flank. Oumar Kalabane (born 8 April 1981) is a Guinean former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played for the Guinea national team between 2000 and 2013. Club career Born in Conakry, Kalabane started his career with Hirondelles de Conakry in his native Guinea, before moving to Étoile de Guinée and then Étoile Sahel of Tunisia in 2000. Cristian Robert Pulhac (born 17 August 1984) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a left back. Club career Cristian Pulhac started his career at Dinamo București, making his Divizia A debut on 23 March 2002 in a 3–0 away victory against UM Timișoara.
