2012–13 FC Dynamo Moscow Season
The 2012–13 Dynamo Moscow season was the 90th season in the club's history. They participated in the Russian Premier League, finishing in 7th place, the Russian Cup, where they reached the Quarterfinal before losing to Anzhi Makhachkala, and the Europa League where they were eliminated at the Playoff round by Stuttgart. Review and events During the season, three managers worked with the first team: Sergei Silkin worked at pre-season training, but resigned after the team was beaten on Matchday 3 by arch-rival Spartak 0–4 and sank to the bottom of the league table. FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League. Dynamo was the only club that had always played in the top tier of Soviet football (along with Dynamo Kyiv) and of Russian football from the end of the Soviet era until they were relegated in 2016. Despite this, they have never won the modern Russian Premier League title and have won Russian Cup only once, in the season of 1994–95. Dmitri Valeryevich Khokhlov (russian: Дмитрий Валерьевич Хохлов, born 22 December 1975) is a Russian football manager and a former player. He is an assistant coach with Sochi. He played as a holding midfielder or playmaker. Playing career Khokhlov played for PFC CSKA Moscow and FC Lokomotiv Moscow in native Russia, having abroad spells with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven and Spanish club Real Sociedad. During his time with FC Lokomotiv Moscow he participated in their memorable 2003–04 UEFA Champions League campaign, scoring third goal in the 3–0 home victory against Internazionale. Kuban Stadium (russian: «Кубань») is a multi-purpose stadium in Krasnodar, Russia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of resurrected FC Kuban Krasnodar and FC Urozhay Krasnodar. The stadium holds 35,200 people. The stadium was opened on 30 October 1960. Petrovsky Stadium
The Petrovsky Stadium (russian: стадион «Петровский») is on a sports complex that consists of a number of buildings, the stadium is used mostly for football and also for athletics. The Grand Sport Arena of the Petrovsky Sport Complex was the home of FC Zenit and FC Tosno. The complex also contains another football stadium, Minor Sport Arena (MSA). MSA of Petrovsky in 2022 is used by several teams that compete in lower professional leagues: FC Dynamo Saint Petersburg and FC Zenit-2 Saint Petersburg (selected matches). Leandro Sebastián Fernández (born 30 January 1983) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a defender and was part of the gold medal Argentine team at the 2004 Summer Olympics. At the Olympics he was not initially part of the squad but was called up for the gold medal game to cover for the injured Nicolás Burdisso. Igor Petrovich Semshov (russian: Игорь Петрович Семшов; born 6 April 1978) is a Russian professional football coach and a former player. He is the manager of Chayka Peschanokopskoye. Career Semshov graduated from the CSKA academy in 1996, but was unable to hold a starting place and left for Torpedo Moscow in 1998 after only two seasons. He played well, and became one of the team's key players even earning a call up to the Russian National Team. In 2006, he was transferred to Dynamo Moscow and played there for two years but was put up for transfer in 2008 due to a failure to reach a contract agreement.
