2012–13 CERS Cup

	2012–13 CERS Cup The 2012–13 CERS Cup was the 33rd season of the CERS Cup, Europe's second club roller hockey (quad), roller hockey competition organized by CERH. Thirty teams from nine national associations qualified for the competition as a result of their respective national league placing in the previous season. Following a preliminary phase and two knockout rounds, CE Vendrell, Vendrell won the tournament at its final four, in El Vendrell, Vendrell, Spain on 11 and 12 May 2013. Preliminary phase The preliminary phase legs took place on 10 and 24 November 2012. Knockout stage The knockout stage consisted in double-legged series for the round of 16 and the quarterfinals, where the four winners would join the Final Four in El Vendrell, Vendrell, Spain. 	CE Vendrell Club d'Esports Vendrell, also known as Moritz Vendrell for sponsorship reasons, is a Spanish sports club based in El Vendrell, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in 1913, the club is commonly known by its roller hockey (quad), roller hockey section, that currently plays in the OK Liga. History Founded in 1913, Vendrell incorporated a rink hockey section in 1958. In 1976 it promoted for the first time to the OK Liga, first division. In 2010, the club started its golden years by promoting again to OK Liga. Three years later, Vendrell won its first title ever by winning the Copa del Rey de Hockey Patines, Copa del Rey. In that 2013, it also conquered its first continental title by achieving the CERS Cup. In 2014, the club made its debut in the top continental tournament, the CERH European League and also re-conquered the Spanish cup.
