The 2012–13 Belgian Elite League was the 76th season of the Belgian Elite League, the top flight men's rugby union league in Belgium. The season saw the return of the Liegeois rugby club Coq Mosan Rugby Coq Mosan is a Belgian rugby union club currently competing in the Belgian Elite League. The club is based in Berneau in the municipality of Dalhem near Liège in Belgium. The official colours of the club are black and white. History Th ..., who were relegated to 2nd division after the 2010-2011 season. They managed to evade relegation by beating the rugby club BUC from Evere, who were relegated instead. The Championship was claimed by ASUB Rugby Waterloo who won their first Championship title since 1998. ASUB Waterloo
ASUB Rugby Waterloo is a Belgian rugby union club currently competing in the Belgian Elite League. The club is based in Waterloo in the Walloon Brabant province of Belgium. The official colours of the club are a combition of dark and marine blue. History The club was founded in 1959 and has won the Belgian Elite League title on 15 occasions most recently in 2013 and have won the Belgian Cup twelve times. Along with Boitsfort RC they have dominated Rugby Union in Belgium but have not managed to match their previous successes over the last decade. RC Soignies is a Belgian rugby union club currently competing in the Belgian Elite League. The club is based in Soignies in Hainaut. The official colours of the club are green and white. History The club was founded in 1973 and has never won the Belgian Elite League but recently won the Belgian Cup for the first time. In 2015, RC Soignies were beaten by a record 356-3 by Royal Kituro. The referee for the fixture arrived over an hour after the scheduled start time, during this period, most of the Soignies players left as they believed the match had been cancelled. The remaining players seemingly allowed the Kituro players to run unchallenged to score 56 tries and 38 conversions as a protest. The Royal Kituro Avia Schaerbeek Rugby Club, often shortened Kituro RC, is a Belgian rugby union club currently competing in the Belgian Elite League. Boitsfort Rugby Club is a Belgian rugby union club currently competing in the Belgian Elite League. The club is based in Brussels suburb of Boitsfort in the Brussels Capital Region. The official colours of the club are blue and white.
