The 2012 Roma Open was a professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It was the eleventh edition of the tournament which was part of the 2012 ATP Challenger Tour. Clay Court
A clay court is one of the types of tennis court on which the sport of tennis is played. Clay courts are built on a foundation of crushed stone, brick, shale, and other construction aggregate, aggregate, with a thin layer of fine clay particles on top. James Ward (tennis)
James Ward (born 9 February 1987) is a British former professional tennis player. He is a Davis Cup champion and former British No. 2. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2010 Aegon International and the semifinals of the 2011 Aegon Championships as a wildcard entry. Rhyne Williams
Robert Rhyne Williams (born March 22, 1991) is a former American tennis player and current tennis coach. He played his last ATP match in 2018, and is coaching fellow collegiate player Dominik Koepfer, and Zachary Svajda. Williams first played on the professional circuit in 2006, but turned full-time professional in July 2011. Williams is the nephew of Mike De Palmer, former ATP pro (Top 35 in Singles, Top 20 in Doubles) who coached Boris Becker from 1994 to 1999. He is the grandson of Mike DePalmer Sr, a coach at University of Tennessee (from 1981 to 1994). Walter Trusendi (born 3 January 1985) is an Italian former professional tennis player and competes mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour and ITF Futures, both in singles and doubles. Boris Pašanski ( sr-Cyrl, Бopиc Пaшaнcки), often spelled Pashanski in English-language media, is a former ATP professional player and a Serbian tennis coach. Career highlights Pašanski reached a career-high ranking of world No. 55 in singles on 27 February 2006, while in doubles, he reached a career-high of world No. 190 on 17 August 2009. Thomas Fabbiano (born 26 May 1989) is an Italian people, Italian former tennis player who played mostly on the ATP Challenger Tour. On 11 September 2017, he reached his then-highest Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP singles ranking of 70. His highest doubles ranking was 208 on 20 July 2009. Andrey Alexandrovich Kuznetsov (, born 22 February 1991) is a Russian coach and a former professional tennis player. On 25 April 2016, he achieved his singles career-high of world No. 39.
