2012 Peruvian Segunda División
The 2012 Segunda División was the 67th edition of the second tier of Federación Peruana de Futbol. The tournament was played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. The clubs Alianza Atlético, CNI and Universidad San Marcos withdrew before the start of the season, and were replaced by Alianza Universidad and Los Caimanes. The clubs Alianza Unicachi and Hijos de Acosvinchos were disabled and relegated to the Copa Perú for outstanding debts with the SAFAP. Peruvian Segunda División
The Peruvian Second Division (; known simply as ''Second Division'', and Liga 2 Caja Cusco for sponsorship reasons), officially known as Liga 2, is the second-highest division in the Peruvian football league system. Founded in 1943, it is a professional and promotional division organized by the Peruvian Football Federation. Since 2025, it has been contested by 15 teams, with promotion to the Peruvian Primera División, Liga 1, and relegation to the Peruvian Tercera División, Liga 3. Club Deportivo Coopsol is a Peruvian football club, based in Chancay, Lima. The club was founded in 1964 under their original name Club Deportivo Seman-FAP (Fuerza Aérea del Perú). Later in 1999 the club's name was changed to Aviación-FAP. Then in 2001 they were known as Deportivo Aviación and changed to their current name ''Deportivo Coopsol'' in 2009. Club Social Deportivo y Cultural Alianza Universidad de Huánuco, popularly known as Alianza Universidad or Alianza Huanuco, is a Peruvian professional football club, based in the city of Huánuco. Club Deportivo Coronel Bolognesi is a Peruvian football club located in the city of Tacna. Originally founded on 18 October 1929, It was named after Francisco Bolognesi. Years later, a second branch of the club called Club Sport Bolito, was founded on 27 May 1998. José Gálvez FBC is a Peruvian football club based in Chimbote, Ancash. The club was founded in 1951 under the name Manuel Rivera after the famous Chimbote born footballer Manuel Rivera. 2012 Copa Perú
The 2012 Copa Perú season (), the promotion tournament of Peruvian Association football, football, started on February. The tournament has 5 stages.
