2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship
The 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship was played at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, from March 29 through April 1. It was the 41st edition of the Kraft Nabisco Championship and its 30th year as a women's major. On the 72nd hole, I.K. Kim had a putt to seal her first major title. The putt lipped out, forcing a playoff with Sun-Young Yoo, who also shot 69 in the final round. Yoo won the sudden-death playoff with a birdie on the first extra hole. Yani Tseng, the 2010 champion, missed the playoff by a stroke; defending champion Stacy Lewis finished two strokes back, in a tie for fourth. Rancho Mirage is a city in Riverside County, California, United States. The city is a low-density desert community with resorts, golf courses, and country clubs within the Colorado Desert section of the Sonoran Desert. Lindsey Elizabeth Wright (born 31 December 1979) is an Australian professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour. She earned exempt status for the 2004 LPGA season in 2003, and has been competing full-time on the Tour since. Personal life Wright was born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England and currently holds residence in both McKinney, Texas and Albury, Australia. Ariya Jutanugarn (, , ; born 23 November 1995) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the American-based LPGA Tour. She was born in Bangkok. Momoko Ueda
is a Japanese female professional golfer who in 2007 at the age of 21 became the youngest player in the history of the LPGA of Japan Tour (JLPGA) to finish first on the money list. She also played on the United States–based LPGA Tour for six years. Amateur career Ueda was born in Kumamoto, Japan. She started playing golf at the age of nine, and entered the prestigious Sakata School at ten. Ji Eun-hee (; born 13 May 1986), also known as Eun-Hee Ji, is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She is also a member of the South Korean KLPGA. She was born in Gapyeong, South Korea. Vicky Hurst
Vicky Hurst (born June 19, 1990) is an American professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour. She turned professional as a 17-year-old in 2008, while still in high school. Playing on the Futures Tour that year, she won five times and set a Tour record for single season earnings with $93,107. Childhood and family life Hurst was born to a golfing family. While pregnant with Vicky, her mother Koko, a native Korean, was completing a round of golf at Andrews AFB near Washington, D.C. when her water broke on the 16th hole. Pak Se-ri or Se-ri Pak (, ; born 28 September 1977) is a South Korean former professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour from 1998 to 2016. Na Yeon Choi (; ; born 28 October 1987) is a South Korean professional golfer playing on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. In July 2012, she won the U.S. Women's Open for her first major championship. Karin Sjödin (born 8 August 1983) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer. Hee-kyung Seo (, born July 8, 1986), also known as Seo Hee-kyung, is a former South Korean female professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour and on LPGA of Korea Tour.
