	2012 Korean Tour The 2012 Korean Tour was the second season of the Korean Tour to carry Official World Golf Ranking points. The season consisted of 13 events, seven of which were co-sanctioned by other tours. All the tournament had prize funds of at least 400 million won (approximately US$350,000). 	Kim Bi-o Kim Bi-o ( ko, 김비오; born 21 August 1990) is a South Korean professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Amateur career As an amateur, Kim won the Korean Amateur Open and Japan Amateur Golf Championship in 2008. He also represented Asia/Pacific in the 2008 Bonallack Trophy and South Korea in the 2008 Eisenhower Trophy. Professional career Kim turned professional in 2009 and joined his home Korean Tour for 2010, winning the Johnnie Walker Open by 6 strokes. 	GS Caltex Maekyung Open The GS Caltex Maekyung Open, as it is known for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament that takes place in Seoul, South Korea. It was established in 1982, replacing the Korea Open as the South Korean event on the Asia Golf Circuit. 	Munsingwear Matchplay Championship The Descente Korea Munsingwear Matchplay is an annual professional golf tournament hosted in South Korea and sponsored by the clothing company Munsingwear. The tournament has been held since 2010 and is part of the Korean Tour for men. Prize money was ₩400,000,000 in 2010 and 2011, ₩600,000,000 in 2012 and 2013, ₩800,000,000 from 2014 to 2016 and ₩1,000,000,000 in 2017 to 2019. The event was not held in 2020 but returned in 2021 with reduced prize money of ₩800,000,000. From 2010 to 2013 and in 2015 the event was played towards the end of season, in September or October. Until 2017 it was called the Dongbu Insurance Promy Open. It has been held at Montvert Country Club from 2015 to 2019. Since 2014 it has been the opening event of the season, held in April. In 2010 and 2011 the event had prize money of ₩300,000,000, rising to ₩400,000,000 in 2012 and ₩500,000,000 in 2016.
