2012 KW Fall Classic
The 2012 KW Fall Classic was held from September 20 to 23 at the Kitchener-Waterloo Granite Curling Club in Waterloo, Ontario, Waterloo, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 Ontario Curling Tour. The men's event was held in a triple knockout format, and the women's event was in a round robin format. The purse for the men's event was Canadian dollar, CAD$8,500, and the purse for the women's event was CAD$15,000. Wesley Forget
Wesley Forget ( ; born June 2, 1991) is a Canadian curler. He is a former Canadian Curling Club Champion, and represented Ontario at the 2019 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's national curling championship. Career Early career Forget began curling at age 11, after watching Kevin Martin win a silver medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He first started curling at the Oshawa Curling Club. While attending Bowmanville High School, where he won two Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics bronze medals. Forget won the 2016 Travelers Curling Club Championship for the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club, along with teammates David Staples, Graham Rathwell and Sandy Staples. The team defeated Saskatchewan in the final, to claim the national championship for club-level curlers. After coaching the Queen's Golden Gaels curling team for the 2015–16 curling season, Forget joined the team as a player for the next season, skipping the rink. Mark Bice
Mark Bice (born October 10, 1984, in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He used to skip a team on the World Curling Tour. He won the Ontario Tankard in 2014 and represented the province at the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier. Career Bice had a fairly successful junior career. Bice is a two time provincial junior champion, winning in 2003 and 2005 and was a provincial schoolboy champion in 2002. In 2003, his rink of Mike Callan, Rob Pruliere and Jeff Wilson finished with a 7–5 record at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships- out of the playoffs. In 2005, they went to the Canadian Juniors again, this time with Codey Maus replacing Callan. The team finished second after the round robin with a 9–3 record. Matt Sheppard (curler)
Matthew Wayne Shepard (December 1, 1976 – October 12, 1998) was an American student at the University of Wyoming who was beaten, tortured, and left to die near Laramie on October 6, 1998. He was transported by rescuers to Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he died six days later from severe head injuries sustained during the attack. Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson were arrested shortly after the attack and charged with first-degree murder following Shepard's death.
