2012 Formula 3 Brazil Open
The 2012 Formula 3 Brazil Open was the third Formula 3 Brazil Open race held at Autódromo José Carlos Pace from January 19–22, 2012. For this year the category presents a new regulation about the tyres. Made in Turkey, these compounds were used on main F-3 championships around the world, such as British series. After a race with accidents, the Brazilian Lucas Foresti of the Cesário Fórmula was crowned his second title. André Negrão competing for the Hitech Racing finished in second place, with class B winner Vinícius Alvarenga finished in third. Formula 3 Brazil Open
The Formula 3 Brazil Open, also known as the F3 Brazil Open, was an annual open wheel racing event at the grand prix circuit of Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos) in São Paulo, Brazil. The inaugural meeting took place in January 2010. In 2015, the cancellation was announced due to the renovation of Interlagos, but has not been done after that. The rules and regulations are the same as used in the long-running Formula Three Sudamericana series, using Dallara chassis fitted with 260 bhp Berta engines and Pirelli tyres. The event is open to drivers of any nationality who are of Formula Three standard. There are four races during the weekend but from the final one only will the winner be crowned: the first three act as qualifying races to decide the grid for the final race. Victor Guerin (racing Driver)
Victor Guerin (born 17 June 1992 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian former professional racing driver. Career Karting Guerin had some karting experience, by participating in various Brazilian championships. Formula Three Sudamericana Guerin graduated to single-seaters, competing in the Light Class of the local Formula Three Sudamericana championship. He won one race and amassed another four podiums. After ten races in this class, he stepped up to main class, contesting four races, finishing one of them on podium. Formula Abarth In 2010, Guerin switched to Europe, joining the newly launched Formula Abarth series in Italy with JD Motorsport. Formula Three (F3) is a third-tier class of open-wheel formula racing. The various championships held in Europe, Australia, South America and Asia form an important step for many prospective Formula One drivers. Formula Three Sudamericana
Fórmula 3 Sudamericana was a South American Formula Three championship. It was inaugurated in 1987 and primarily held races in Brazil and Argentina, with a small number of events held in other countries across the continent. Luís Felipe "Pipo" Derani (born 12 October 1993) is a Brazilian race car driver who is currently a factory driver for the Genesis Magma Racing program. He is an overall winner of the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona and the 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2023 12 Hours of Sebring. Victor Coelho Franzoni da Silva (born 5 October 1995) is a Brazilian racing driver who most recently competed in Copa Truck. Franzoni raced in Formula Renault in Europe before switching to competition in the United States on the USF Pro Championships, Road to Indy.
