2012 European F3 Open Season
The 2012 European F3 Open Championship was the fourth European F3 Open Championship season. The series introduced the new Dallara F312 cars for Class A, with the F308 model being implemented for the Copa Class. Teams and drivers * All cars are powered by Toyota engines. European F3 Open Championship
The Euroformula Open Championship (formerly the Spanish Formula Three Championship, European F3 Open Championship) is a junior formula racing series based in Spain. It was one of six national and international Formula Three championships in Europe that together used to form an important part of the established " career ladder" below Formula One. The championship's first season was held in 2001. In 2006, it was branded as the Spanish F3 Championship by Toyota, in deference to its sole engine supplier. In 2020, the championship ceased to be a F3-championship and will share its specifications with Japan's Super Formula Lights based on the previous-generation Formula Three standards, primarily with a choice of engines. Facu Regalia
Facundo "Facu" Regalia (born 23 November 1991 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine former racing driver. He competed in his first two Formula BMW seasons under a Spanish racing licence. Career Karting Regalia began karting in 2006 and raced primarily in Spain for the majority of his career. Formula BMW Regalia began his formula racing career in 2008 in the newly created Formula BMW Europe with EuroInternational. He finished sixteenth overall in the championship, with nine point-scoring finishes and 60 points. Regalia remained in the series for the following season but switched to Josef Kaufmann Racing. He improved to eighth in standings, taking thirteen points-scoring positions in sixteen races. In 2010, Regalia completed his third season, joining Eifelland Racing. Circuit De Nevers Magny-Cours
Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is a motor racing circuit located in central France, near the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers, some from Paris and from Lyon. It staged the Formula One French Grand Prix from 1991 (succeeding Circuit Paul Ricard) to 2008, and the 24-hour Bol d'Or motorcycle endurance events from 2000 to 2014 (succeeded by Circuit Paul Ricard). Hungaroring
The Hungaroring is a motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Pest County, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held. In 1986, it became the location of the first Formula One Grand Prix motor racing, Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Bernie Ecclestone wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend recommended Budapest. They wanted a street circuit similar to the Circuit de Monaco to be built in the People's Park (Budapest), Népliget – Budapest's largest park – but the government decided to build a new circuit just outside the city near a major highway. Construction works started on 1 October 1985. It was built in eight months, less time than any other Formula One circuit. Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto (formerly known as Circuito de Jerez and Circuito de Velocidad Jerez), is a racing circuit located close to the city of Jerez de la Frontera, south of Seville and deep within the sherry-producing region in the south of Spain. Kevin Giovesi (born 8 November 1993) is an Italian former racing driver. He is the 2012 European F3 Open Copa Class champion. Career Karting Born in Rho, Giovesi began karting in 2005 and raced primarily in his native Italy for the majority of his karting career, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the KF3 category by 2008. Drivex is an auto racing team and school based in Spain. The team was founded by Pedro de la Rosa and Miguel Ángel de Castro in 2005 as a racing school. Matteo Davenia (born 7 January 1993 in Milan) is a racing driver from Italy. Career Karting Davenia began his motorsport career in karting back in 2003, finishing fourth in the Italian Junior Championship. He was also champion of the 2007 Italian Rotax 125 championship. Formula Three Davenia moved up to single-seaters in 2008, competing in the Italian Formula Three Championship finale at Vallelunga, driving for Europa Corse in the Trofeo Nazionale CSAI class. He finished 23rd overall in the championship, after finishing tenth and thirteenth in the two races.
