2012 AFC U-19 Championship Squads
The 2012 AFC U-19 Championship was an international under-19 age group football tournament held in United Arab Emirates from 3 – 17 November 2012. The sixteen national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of maximum 23 players; only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. The age listed for each player is on 3 November 2012, the first day of the tournament. The nationality for each club reflects the national association (not the league) to which the club is affiliated. A flag is included for coaches that are of a different nationality than their own national team. Players in boldface have been capped at full international level at some point in their career. Sharjah Football Club ( ar, نادي الشارقة لكرة القدم) is an Emirati professional football club based in Sharjah that competes in the UAE Pro League. Their home stadium is Sharjah Stadium. Founded in 1966, it has been the most successful team in the Emirate of Sharjah, winning 6 pro league titles, 9 presidents cups and 2 super cups. Yasushi Yoshida
is a former Japanese football player and manager. Playing career Yoshida was born in Nerima, Tokyo on August 9, 1960. After graduating from Waseda University, he played for Mitsubishi Motors (currently ''Urawa Reds'') from 1983 to 1992. He played 175 games and scored 35 goals at the club. Coaching career After retirement, Yoshida started his coaching career at Urawa Reds from 1992. He mainly coached as an assistant coach at the club until 2000. Al Dhafra FC () is a professional football club based in Madinat Zayed, United Arab Emirates. As of the 2020–21 season they play in the UAE Arabian Gulf League. Their futsal club participated in AFC Futsal Club Championship. History Al Dhafra FC was established in 2000, as part of a policy to promote sports across the country and the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi had no team, so Al Dhafra is the first and only club to be located in the western region. For most of its history the club was classified as a semi-professional club according to the UAE Pro League committee and did not have licenses to compete in the AFC competitions but the team had continued to appeal for a license since qualifying for the UAE President's Cup for the first time in 2019.
