2011–12 SC Freiburg Season
The 2011–12 season of SC Freiburg is the club's 14th season in the Bundesliga, the highest division in German football, and the third consecutive season since promotion in 2009. It is the club's first season with Marcus Sorg as manager. The season began on 20 June with their first training session. Off-season Beg Ferati from Basel became the first official signing of Freiburg's 2011–12 season upon confirmation on 7 March 2011. Further signings were 1. FC Nürnberg goalkeeper Daniel Batz and forward Garra Dembélé from Levski Sofia. Also Ivica Banović returned from his loan spell at MSV Duisburg, whilst Christian Bickel and Simon Brandstetter joined from the club's own reserve squad. Furthermore, Freiburg began the season with a new manager, Marcus Sorg, after the previous manager Robin Dutt moved to Bayer Leverkusen. Sorg had been in charge of the club's reserves team. Sport-Club Freiburg e.V., commonly known as SC Freiburg () or just Freiburg, is a German football club, based in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg. Levski Sofia ( bg, Левски София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. FC Energie Cottbus (Lower Sorbian: ''Energija Chóśebuz'') is a German football club based in Cottbus, Brandenburg. It was founded in 1963 as SC Cottbus in what was East Germany. After the reunification of Germany, Energie played six seasons in the third tier of the German football league system before floating between the 2. Zvonko Pamić (born 4 February 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Karlovac. Club career Early career Pamić began his career with NK Žminj where he earned his first professional caps in the 2007–08 season. Together with his brother Alen Pamić and cousin Sandi Križman, they signed for Rijeka in January 2008. They were then sent on loan to Karlovac for the remainder of the season, where their father Igor Pamić was coach at the time. Tommy Bechmann (born 22 December 1981) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a winger or forward. Career Early years Bechmann began his active career in 2000 at FC Aarhus, now called Aarhus Fremad. In 2002, he moved to first division side Esbjerg fB. In West Jutland he gained a regular place. Andreas Hinkel
Andreas Hinkel (born 26 March 1982) is a German football coach and a former player. Hinkel played as a right-back and earned 21 caps for the Germany national team. He was known for his attacking play on the flanks and defensive solidity. He started his career with Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart in 2000, before moving to La Liga club Sevilla in 2006.
