The 2011–12 Maltese Second Division (referred to as the Bank of Valletta Second Division for sponsorship reasons) is the seventh season of the league under its current title and first season under its current league division format. Maltese Second Division
The Maltese Second Division (also known as the BOV Second Division due to sponsorship reasons) was the third-highest division in Maltese football until 2020 when it was merged with the Maltese Third Division to create the National Amateur League. Structure 13 clubs formed the league and each played every other club twice. Three points were awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. At the end of the season, the top two teams were promoted to the First Division, while the bottom two were relegated to the Third Division. William Camenzuli
William Camenzuli (born 11 February 1979 in Gżira, Malta) is a professional footballer currently playing for Maltese Second Division side Zebbug Rangers, where he plays as a defender. Playing career Floriana Camenzuli began his career playing for Floriana during the 1994–95 season, throughout the season, he made eight appearances and scored one goal, as Floriana recorded a fourth-place finish in the Maltese Premier League. Camenzuli went into the 1995–96 season hoping to cement a first team place in the Floriana squad. He went on to make only one appearance without scoring, as Floriana recorded a third-place finish in the Maltese Premier League. For the 1996–97 season, Camenzuli started to establish himself as a first team regular, he went onto make 13 appearances for the season, but again failed to score, as Floriana again finished in third position in the Maltese Premier League. Senglea Athletic F
Senglea ( ), also known by its title Città Invicta (or Civitas Invicta), is a fortified city in the Port Region of Malta. It is one of the Three Cities in the Grand Harbour area, the other two being Cospicua and Vittoriosa, and has a population of approximately 2,720 people. The city's title Città Invicta (lit. invincible city) was given because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of Malta in 1565. The name Senglea comes from the Grand Master who built it Claude de la Sengle and gave the city a part of his name. While Senglea is the 52nd most populated locality on the island, due to its incredibly small land area, it is the 2nd most densely populated locality after Sliema. In Senglea, locals speak the Cottonera dialect. Senglea was part of a town named Birmula. When the order of St John came to Malta they planned to build 3 cities from this land.
