2011–12 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup
The 2011–12 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season for short track speed skating. The season began on 22 October 2011 and ended on 12 February 2012. The World Cup was organised by the International Skating Union, International Skating Union (ISU) who also ran world cups and championships in speed skating and figure skating. Vladimir Viktorovich Grigorev (; born 8 August 1982) is a Russian short track speed skater. He previously competed for Ukraine. Grigorev is from Sumy in Ukraine. Career Grigorev competed for Ukraine in short track speed skating at the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. He did not compete at the 2010 Olympics, and, in 2007, switched allegiance to Russia, due to a shortage of skating facilities in Ukraine. He qualified to compete for Russia at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. John-Henry Krueger (born March 27, 1995) is an American-born, naturalised Hungarian that has represented both countries in his sporting events in short-track speed skating. He was an American national champion in the 500-, 1,000-, and 1,500-meter events. He competed for the U.S. in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in all men's individual events and in the 5,000-meter team relay event, winning the silver medal in the men's 1,000-meter event. The Shanghai Oriental Sports Center (), also known as the Shanghai Aquatic Sports Center, is a sports venue next to the Expo Park in Shanghai's Pudong New Area. Charle Cournoyer (born June 11, 1991) is a Canadian short track speed skater. He won an Olympic bronze medal in the 500 m at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Cournoyer was also part of the gold medal World Championship relay team at the 2013 ISU World Championships for Canada.
