2011–12 Feyenoord Season
The 2011–12 season was Feyenoord's 104th season of play, it was their 56th season in the Eredivisie and its 90th consecutive season in the highest Dutch football division. They ended their league campaign in second place, after winning ten of the last eleven games of the season. They reached the third round of the KNVB Cup. It was the first season with Ronald Koeman, who signed as manager of Feyenoord after former manager Mario Been resigned on 13 July 2011 due to a lack of trust from the squad. Dick Van Well
Dick van Well (; born 1948 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch businessman and is mainly known for being chairman of Dutch football team Feyenoord Rotterdam between 2007–2015. Van Well was chairman of the Dura Vermeer Group in Zoetermeer for many years. He is known to support Feyenoord since the 1960s, the time that the quality of Dutch football improved to their glorious years in the 1970s, including Feyenoord UEFA Champions League, European Cup win in 1970. He also has his own business seat in the Feijenoord Stadion. Van Well was appointed as Feyenoord's new chairman after Jorien van den Herik was forced to withdraw from his position in the 2006-07 season. Oussama Assaidi (; ; born 15 August 1988) is a Moroccan former Association football, footballer who played as a Winger (association football), winger. Assaidi began his career in the Netherlands with AZ Alkmaar, AZ. Bas Dost
Bas Leon Dost (; born 31 May 1989) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker. Having begun his career at FC Emmen in the Eerste Divisie, Dost later played in the Eredivisie for Heracles Almelo and SC Heerenveen. In 2012, after being the top scorer in the league with 32 goals in 34 games, he was signed by VfL Wolfsburg. Four years later, having helped his team win the DFB-Pokal he signed for Primeira Liga side Sporting CP. He won the Bola de Prata for top scorer in his first Primeira Liga season, with 34 goals in 31 games. Reinold (also known as Reinoldus, Reinhold of Cologne or in German Reinhold von Köln) was a Benedictine monk who lived in the 10th century. Almelo () is a Municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands. The main population centres in the town are Aadorp, Almelo, Mariaparochie, and Bornerbroek. Almelo has about 72,000 inhabitants in the middle of the rolling countryside of Twente, with the industrial centres of Enschede and Hengelo as close neighbours but also with tourist towns like Ootmarsum, Delden and Markelo only a bicycle ride away. Asito Stadion, formerly the Erve Asito () and the Polman Stadion, is a multi-use stadium in Almelo, Netherlands. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 12.080 spectators and was built in 1999. It is the official stadium of Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo. Glynor Orvil Plet (; born 30 January 1987) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker. He is the all-time top scorer and former captain of Telstar. Plet is noted for his physical strength, ability in the air, and ball retention. After a turbulent youth career, where he alternated between playing for amateur and professional clubs, Plet made his professional debut in November 2005, aged 18, for Eerste Divisie club Den Bosch. Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, founded in 1903. The club has won the Dutch national title twice, in 1927 and 1941. Heracles won the Eerste Divisie title during the 2004–05 season, gaining promotion to the Eredivisie for the first time in 28 years. Björn Kuipers (; born 28 March 1973) is a former Dutch football referee. He has been a FIFA listed referee from 2006 to 2021 and an UEFA Elite group referee from 2009 to 2021. He was assisted during international matches by Sander van Roekel and Erwin Zeinstra. Leroy Johan Fer (born 5 January 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for UAE club Al-Nasr.
