2011 Sun Belt Conference Football Season
The 2011 Sun Belt Conference football season was the 11th season of college football play for the Sun Belt Conference. The season began September 1, 2011 and concluded January 8, 2012 as part of the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season, 2011-12 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Mean Green were led by first year head coach Dan McCarney and played home games at the new Apogee Stadium in Denton, Texas. The Fred Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the most outstanding receiver in American college football by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc.
