2011 Sultan Qaboos Cup
The 2011 Sultan Qaboos Cup was the 39th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup (), the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman. The competition began on 16 September 2011 with the qualification round and concluded on 26 December 2011. Al-Oruba SC were the defending champions, having won their third title in 2010 Sultan Qaboos Cup, 2010. Dhofar S.C.S.C. were crowned the champions of the 2011 Sultan Qaboos Cup when they defeated Al-Ittihad Club (Salalah), Al-Ittihad Club 1–0, winning the title for the record eighth time. Dhofar S
The Dhofar Governorate () is the largest of the 11 governorates in the Sultanate of Oman in terms of area. It lies in southern Oman, on the eastern border with Yemen's Al Mahrah Governorate and the southern border with Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. Al-Musannah SC
Al Musannah Club (; also known locally as ''Al-Siham Al-Hamra'a'', or "Red Arrow(s)", or just plainly as Al-Mussanah) is an Omani sports club based in Al-Musannah, Oman. The club currently plays in the Oman Professional League, top division of Oman Football Association. Their home ground is Al-Seeb Stadium. Sohar
Sohar () is the capital and largest city of the Al Batinah North Governorate in Oman. Al Buraimi Governorate () is one of the 11 governorates of Oman. The area was part of Ad Dhahirah Region until October 2006, when a new governorate was created from the wilayats (provinces) of Al Buraymi and Mahdah.
