Danish Mujtaba
Danish Mujtaba (born 20 December 1988 in Allahabad) is an Indian professional field hockey player. He made his debut for the national team in 2009. He represented India during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the 2016 Olympics in Rio. He comes from a family of hockey players, including his grandfather Idris Ahmed, his uncle Atif Idris, his father Ghulam Mujtaba and his elder brother Hamza Mujtaba who have played for India. He first represented India at junior level, at the 2009 Junior World Cup. He played for the senior team at the 2010 World Cup and later went on to become Captain of national team in 2013. Jacob Thomas Whetton (born 15 June 1991) is an Australian field hockey player who plays as a forward for the Australian national team. Personal life Whetton is from Queensland and considers Brisbane his home town. He was born on 15 June 1991. He lives in Perth, Western Australia. His nickname is Whetty. Club career Whetton plays for the Queensland Blades in the Australian Hockey League where he wears number 21. He played three seasons for the Punjab Warriors in the Hockey India League. Jason Wilson (born 2 July 1987) is an Australian field hockey striker from Kingscliff, New South Wales. He made his top-level club hockey debut in 2003. While living in New South Wales, he represented Queensland in national competitions on the junior and senior level. Wilson played more than 150 games for the QLD Men’s Team from 2004-2015 winning 5 national titles throughout his tenure. He was a member of the Australia men's national field hockey team 2009-2015 and earned gold medals at the four Champions Trophy tournaments including 2010 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy which he was named Most Promising Player and lead the goal scoring for the tournament. Simon Orchard (born July 1986) is an Australian field hockey player. He plays for New South Wales in the Australian Hockey League. He is a member of the Australia men's national field hockey team and has won several medals with them including gold at the 2009 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy, gold at the 2010 Men's Hockey World Cup and gold at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. Sohail Abbas, (born 9 June 1977) is a former professional field hockey player from Pakistan who played as a full-back for the Pakistan men's national field hockey team. Robert Stephen Moore (born 21 May 1981) is an English former field hockey player. He appeared at three Olympic Games in 2004, 2008 and 2012. Biography Moore was born in Winchester, England and was educated at King Edward VI, Southampton before studying economics at University of Nottingham. Throughout his academic career Moore was involved with all sports, showing a particular talent for hockey and cricket. At the age of 16 whilst playing a hockey match for his school, the coach for the opposing team, who happened to also be the under 21s coach for England, spotted the young player's natural ability and invited him to an England under 21s trial.
