2011 Regional League Division 2
The 2011 Regional League Division 2 (also known as the AIS League for sponsorship reasons) was the 6th season of the Regional League Division 2, it had redirected from the division 2, since its establishment in 2006. The 77 clubs will be divided into 5 groups (regions). Regional League Championships 2011 was contested by the five regional league winners and runners up of the 3rd level championships of Thailand. The two best 3rd placed teams from the regional leagues also take part Twelve teams were split into two groups of A & B, with the top two teams from group A & B gaining promotion to the Thai Division 1 League, Thai 1st Division for the 2012 campaign, along with this, the two group winners would play off to determine the overall champions. Ratchaburi F
Ratchaburi (, ) or Rajburi, Rat Buri) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in western Thailand, capital of Ratchaburi Province. Ratchaburi town covers the entire ''tambon'' Na Mueang (หน้าเมือง) of Mueang Ratchaburi District. As of 2017 it had an estimated population of 36,169, down from 38,149 in 2005. Phichit (, เมือง) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in central Thailand, capital of Phichit Province. It covers the whole ''tambon'' Nai Mueang of Mueang Phichit district, an area of 12.017 km². As of 2005, it had a population of 23,791. Phichit is 326 km north of Bangkok. Geography Phichit is at the confluence of the Wat Ta Yom River and the Nan River. Lamphun (; , ) is a town (''thesaban mueang'') in northern Thailand, capital of Lamphun Province. It covers the whole ''tambon'' Nai Mueang of Mueang Lamphun district. As of 2006 it has a population of 14,030. Lamphun lies north of Bangkok and south of Chiang Mai. History Lamphun was founded by Queen Chama Thevi as the capital of the Haripunchai Kingdom, the last and most northerly Mon kingdom in the area which now forms Thailand. Around south of Chiang Mai, it was constructed in the shape of a conch shell, following the Khuang River on its east side and divided by moats at the remaining points of the compass. Queen Chama Thevi is remembered in the wat of her name, which is said to be the resting place of her ashes. Sarakham (มหาสารคาม) is the capital city of Maha Sarakham province in Thailand's northeastern (Isan) region. Sarakham, as it is known to its inhabitants, is in a rice-growing area on the southern Khorat plain, straddling the Chi River.
