2011 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Team
The 2011 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team represented the University of Notre Dame in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Brian Kelly (American Football Coach)
Brian Keith Kelly (born October 25, 1961) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he has held since the 2022 season. Kelly served as the head football coach at Grand Valley State University from 1991 to 2003, Central Michigan University from 2004 to 2006, the University of Cincinnati from 2006 to 2009, and the University of Notre Dame from 2010 to 2021. He led the Grand Valley State Lakers to consecutive NCAA Division II Football Championships in 2002 and 2003. Ian Williams (born August 31, 1989) is a former American football nose tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Notre Dame. Early life Williams grew up in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and attended Lyman High School, where he played football for coach Bill Caughell. Matthias Farley (born July 15, 1992) is an American professional football safety. He played college football at Notre Dame. Farley was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans. DaVaris Daniels (born December 18, 1992) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). George Atkinson III
George Henry Atkinson III (November 29, 1992 – December 2, 2019) was an American professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2014, and also played for the Cleveland Browns, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the New York Jets. As a rookie with Oakland in 2014, Atkinson began the season on the practice squad until he was activated late in the season and contributed mostly on special teams.
