Kano State
Kano State ( Hausa: ''Jihar Kano''جىِهَر كَنوُ) (Fula: Leydi Kano 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤳𞤢𞤲𞤮𞥅 ) is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern region of the country. Basheer Lado Garba Mohammed (born 16 October 1966) is a Nigerian businessman who was elected Senator for the Kano Central constituency of Kano State, Nigeria in the April 2011 national elections, running on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform.
