The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a nonprofit organization that regulates College athletics in the United States, student athletics among about 1,100 schools in the United States, and Simon Fraser University, 1 in Canada. 2011 Toledo Rockets Football Team
The 2011 Toledo Rockets football team represented the University of Toledo during the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Rockets were led by third-year head coach Tim Beckman during the regular season and new head coach Matt Campbell for their bowl game. They competed in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference and played their home games at the Glass Bowl. They finished the season 9–4, 7–1 in MAC play to be West Division co–champions with Northern Illinois. Due to their loss to Northern Illinois, they did not represent the division in the MAC Championship Game. They were invited to the Military Bowl where they defeated Air Force 42–41. At the end of the regular season, head coach Tim Beckman resigned to become the new head coach at Illinois. Offensive coordinator Matt Campbell was named as Beckman's replacement and coached the Rockets in the Military Bowl. Beckman finished at Toledo with a three-year record of 21–16. Pete Lembo
Peter Lembo (born April 16, 1970) is an American college football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at the University at Buffalo, where he led the Bulls to a record number of victories in his first season as head coach. Previously, he was the special teams coordinator at the University of South Carolina, where, in 2022, he oversaw the highest rated special teams unit in college football. Lembo has enjoyed success in each of his four stops as a head coach, leading each program to at least nine wins and post season appearances. He has accumulated a 121-69 career record over a 16-year period. His 79–36 record in ten seasons at the FCS level makes him one of the winningest coaches in the history of that classification. Stephen Robert Addazio (born June 1, 1959) is an American football coach and broadcaster and former player. He became a color commentator for ESPN's college football broadcasts before the 2024 season. Before becoming a broadcaster, Addazio served as a high school and college coach for almost forty years, most recently as the offensive line coach for Texas A&M University. He served as the head football coach at Temple University from 2011 to 2012, Boston College from 2013 to 2019, and Colorado State University from 2020 to 2021. Frank Solich
Frank Thomas Solich (born September 8, 1944) is a former American college football coach and former player. He is the former head coach at Ohio University, a position he held from 2005 until 2021. From 1998 to 2003, Solich served as the head coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he also played fullback under Bob Devaney in the mid-1960s. Early life and playing career Solich grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1962, where he earned all-state, All-America, and all-scholastic honors. Don Treadwell
Don Treadwell (born June 10, 1960) is an American college football coach and former player. He was most recently the interim head coach at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, having previously served as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach on Doc Gamble's staff. Treadwell served as the head football coach at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 2011 to 2013 and as the offensive coordinator at Michigan State University from 2007 to 2010. He also acted as interim head coach after Mark Dantonio suffered a heart attack during the 2010 season. However, Michigan State credits the entire season to Dantonio's record. Darrell Hazell
Darrell Ivan Hazell (born April 14, 1964) is a former American football coach. Hazell has been a head coach twice, with Kent State from 2011 to 2012, and Purdue from 2013 to 2016. A native of Cinnaminson Township, New Jersey, Hazell graduated in 1982 from Cinnaminson High School where he played football and ran track and then attended Muskingum University starting in the fall of 1982. He played on the football team as a starter for his final three years at the school. Hazell graduated in 1986. He held assistant coaching positions at Oberlin, Eastern Illinois, Penn, Western Michigan, Army, West Virginia, and Rutgers. Jeff Quinn (American Football)
Jeffrey Quinn (born September 26, 1962) is an American football coach. He was formerly an assistant coach at the University of Notre Dame. Quinn served as the head football coach at the University at Buffalo from 2010 to 2014. He was the 24th head coach in University at Buffalo football history. He replaced Turner Gill who left for Kansas following the 2009 season. Quinn served as interim head coach at Central Michigan University in 2006 and at the University of Cincinnati in 2009, following the resignation of Brian Kelly in both instances. David Paul Clawson (born August 16, 1967) is an American retired college football coach and former player. He most recently served as the head football coach at Wake Forest University, where he was named the 2021 ACC Coach of the Year. Robert S. Ianello (born November 4, 1965) is an American college football coach. He is the general manager with the Kansas Jayhawks, a position he had held since the 2021 season.
