2011 Indiana Hoosiers Football Team
The 2011 Indiana Hoosiers football team represented Indiana University Bloomington during the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season in the new Leaders Division of the Big Ten Conference. The 2011 season was the first for new head coach Kevin Wilson, formerly the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma. The Hoosiers played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana. They finished the season 1–11, 0–8 in Big Ten play to place last in the Leaders Division. Before the season The Hoosiers entered the season with a new outlook on the football program, after athletic director Fred Glass fired former head coach Bill Lynch and his staff and brought in Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson. Kevin Wilson (American Football)
Kevin Reece Wilson (born October 23, 1961) is an American football coach and former player who currently serves as the head coach at the University of Tulsa. He will continue to serve as the offensive coordinator at Ohio State University through the 2022 season. Wilson served as head coach at Indiana University from 2011 to 2016 and was the offensive coordinator at the University of Oklahoma from 2002 to 2010. Playing career Wilson played offensive line and linebacker at Maiden High School. He was all-conference for two seasons and for his senior season was named to the ''Charlotte Observer'' All-Piedmont team. He went on to play center and guard for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels as a walk-on. After two seasons as a walk-on he earned a scholarship. Cathedral High School (Indianapolis)
Cathedral High School is a private Catholic high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school serves approximately 1,200 students in grades 9 to 12. The school was founded in Archdiocese of Indianapolis by Bishop Joseph Chartrand in 1918 and was run by the Brothers of Holy Cross until it became independent by the late 1970s. Holy Cross returned to the school in 2011. History The school was founded as a boys high school by the Brothers of Holy Cross in 1918. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. West Monroe High School
West Monroe High School is a high school in West Monroe, Louisiana, United States. It is administered by the Ouachita Parish School Board. WMHS is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school's mascot is The Rebel Man. Independence Community College is a public community college in Independence, Kansas. It was formerly Independence Community Junior College. History Independence Community College was established in 1925 as grades 13 and 14 of the Independence public school system. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. Ballard High School (Louisville, Kentucky)
Ballard High School is a high school in the eastern suburbs of Louisville, Kentucky, and is a part of the Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) school district. The school opened in the fall of 1968. The first students were in grades 7- 9, and a grade was added each year as the building was expanded. This kept the school system from having to transfer upper class students from other high schools. The first class (consisting of the original freshmen) graduated in 1972. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage.
