2011 IFA Shield
The 2011 IFA shield was held in Kolkata starting from 11 March, with a total of 10 teams including a Chinese super league team participating. Teams were divided into 2 groups and played each other with the top 2 advancing to the semifinals. This was the 115th edition of the tournament. Churchill Brothers FC Goa, or simply known as Churchill Brothers, is an Indian professional football club based in Margao, Goa, that competes in the I-League, alongside Goa Professional League. Founded in 1988 in Margao, the club usually participated in the National Football League, then top tier of Indian football league system. Pune Football Club was an Indian professional football club based in Pune, Maharashtra. The club has competed in the I-League, then top flight of Indian football league system. The club was one of the most professional clubs in Indian football history, known mainly for their focus on fanfare, professional playing set-up, and focus on youth development. The club was owned by the Ashok Piramal Group. Founded in 2007, the club managed to gain promotion to the I-League in 2009. In their first season in the I-League, the club managed to finish in a very surprising third place before having their best ever season during the 2012–13 season in which they finished in second place. Cheng Yuan (; born 8 October 1993) is a Chinese footballer who plays as a forward for Chinese club a Jinan Xingzhou. Ravinder Singh (born 17 December 1991) is an Indian footballer who plays as a leftback for Mohun Bagan in the I-League. Career Early career Singh started his career at Air India FC in 2008 where he stayed till 2010. While with Air India Singh scored four goals.
