2011 FedEx Cup Playoffs
The 2011 FedEx Cup Playoffs, the series of four golf tournaments that determined the season champion on the U.S.-based PGA Tour, began on August 25 and ended on September 25. FedEx Cup
The FedEx Cup is a championship trophy for the PGA Tour. Its introduction marked the first time that men's professional golf had a playoff system. David Toms
David Wayne Toms (born January 4, 1967) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. From 1992 to 2017, Toms was a member of the PGA Tour, where he won 13 events, including one major, the 2001 PGA Championship. The following tables list the point distributions used in the FedEx Cup during the regular season and playoffs, as well as the ''starting score vs par'' element of the FedEx Cup's Tour Championship. Regular point distribution Only golfers who make the first cut for an event will receive points for that event. 2007 FedEx Cup Playoffs
The 2007 FedEx Cup Playoffs were held from August 23 to September 16. They consisted of four events. The events in order are The Barclays, Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship and The Tour Championship. These were the first FedEx Cup playoffs being held.
