2011 Danish Cup Final
The 2011 Danish Cup Final was a football match that decided the winner of the 2010–11 Danish Cup. It was played on 22 May 2011 at 18:45 CEST, between FC Nordsjælland and FC Midtjylland, the same two teams who competed in last year's final, with FC Nordsjælland emerging victorious once again, 3–2. 2010–11 Danish Cup
The 2010–11 Danish Cup was the 57th season of the Danish football cup competition. For the third year, the sponsor of the competition was Ekstra Bladet, a daily newspaper, who signed a 3-year contract with the Danish Football Association (DBU) in 2008, making the official name Ekstra Bladet Cup 2010–11. The competition opened on 9 August 2010 with the First Round and concluded on 22 May 2011 with the Final at the Parken Stadium. First round In this round entered 96 teams. There were 48 matches in the First Round, taking place between 9 and 17 August 2010. Odense Boldklub (; also known as Odense BK or the more commonly used OB) is a Danish professional football club based in the city Odense. The club has won three Danish championships and five Danish Cup trophies. OB play in the Danish Superliga and their home field is Nature Energy Park. Rawez Lawan
Rawez Farhad Lawan (born 4 October 1987) is a Sweden, Swedish former professional Association football, footballer of Kurdish descent who played primarily as a midfielder. Lawan joined AC Horsens in the summer of 2006, and played an important role in the club's successful struggle against relegation during the 2006–07 Danish Superliga season. In summer 2009 he signed a 4-year contract with FC Nordsjælland. On 7 January 2013 he signed a 3-year deal with Swedish side IFK Norrköping. Copenhagen Marathon
The Copenhagen Marathon is an annual marathon that takes place on the streets of Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in 1980, it is held in May and has around 10,000 participants. It is a World Athletics Bronze Label race. The course is a mostly flat loop that begins and ends at the harbourfront of Islands Brygge, and wanders through the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. There is a time limit of six hours. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same.
