2011 Copa Bimbo
The 2011 Campeonato Internacional de Verano, also known as Copa Bimbo for sponsoring purposes, is the third edition of the Campeonato Internacional de Verano, an exhibition international club football competition that featured two clubs from Uruguay (Nacional and Peñarol), one from Paraguay ( Libertad) and one from Argentina ( Vélez Sársfield). It is played in Montevideo, Uruguay at the Estadio Centenario from 14 to 16 January 2011. Club Nacional de Football (, ''National Football Club'' or simply as Nacional) is a Uruguayan professional sports club based in Montevideo. The club was founded on 14 May 1899 as a result of the merger between ''Uruguay Athletic Club'' and ''Montevideo Fútbol Club''. Although its main focus is football, the club hosts many other activities, including basketball, futsal, tennis, cycling, volleyball, and chess. In domestic tournaments, Nacional has won the Primera División title 49 times, most recently in the 2020 season. Fabián Larry Estoyanoff Poggio (born 27 September 1982) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a winger for Centro Atlético Fénix. Club career Born in Montevideo, Estoyanoff started his career at Centro Atlético Fénix in 2000, and was loaned to Peñarol two years later. In 2005 he signed a five-year contract with Valencia CF in Spain, but never represented the club during his tenure, which included several loan spells. Henry Matías Mier Codina (born 2 August 1990) is an Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a left-winger or attacking midfielder for Liga 2 club Bhayangkara. Club career Early career Mier began his career at Rentistas in 2007 and transferred to Fénix in 2008. He left the club in December 2010 after the 2010 Apertura season.
