The 2011 Campeonato Paranaense, Campeonato Paranaense de Futebol Profissional da 1ª Divisão is the 96th season of Paraná (state), Paraná's top professional football league. The competition began on January 16 and will end on May 15. Coritiba Foot Ball Club, Coritiba is the defending champion. Format The tournament consists of a double Round-robin tournament, round-robin format, in which all twelve teams play each other twice, with classification split in two stages. The first stage of the tournament started on January 16 and will end on February 27 and the second stage will start on March 5 and end on May 1. The better-placed teams of each stage will face themselves in a two-legged tie, with the team with the most points in the overall classification playing the second leg home, the winning team will then be declared champion. Irati is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil, located in the southeastern region of the state. Its population at the 2022 census was 59,250. Cianorte is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil, with an estimated population of 83,816, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics in 2020. 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
In 2011, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth division of the Brazilian League, will be contested for the third time in history, during 18 July and 13 November. It will be contested by 40 clubs, four of which will eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to be contested in 2012. Competition format The 40 teams are divided in eight groups of 5, playing within them in a double round-robin format. The two best ranked in each group at the end of 10 rounds will qualify to the Second Stage, which will be played in home-and-away system. Winners advance to Third Stage. The quarterfinal winners will be promoted to the Série C 2012. As there is no Série E, or fifth division, technically there will be no relegation. The 2012 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2012 Copa Santander Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL.
