2011 BH Telecom Indoors
The 2011 BH Telecom Indoors was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the ninth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2011 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a type of surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. The ball tends to bounce high and players are able to apply many types of spin during play. Édouard Roger-Vasselin (; born 28 November 1983) is a French professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. He won two Grand Slam titles in doubles at the 2014 French Open, partnering Julien Benneteau, and mixed doubles at the 2024 French Open, partnering Laura Siegemund. He also finished runner-up at the Wimbledon Championships in both 2016 and 2019, alongside Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut respectively. Karol Beck
Karol Beck (born 3 April 1982) is a male former tennis player from Slovakia, who turned professional in 2001. His career-high singles ranking is World No. 36, achieved in August 2005. Beck reached the fourth round of the 2004 US Open and the quarterfinals of the 2005 Montreal Masters, defeating Nikolay Davydenko en route to both runs. Lucky Loser
A lucky loser is a sports competitor (player or team) who loses a match in a knockout tournament or loses in qualifying, but who then enters the main draw. This can occur when another competitor withdraws during the tournament because of illness, injury, or other reasons, in which case the lucky loser re-enters the competition in place of the withdrawn competitor, or due to the structure of the tournament. In the event of a lucky loser's re-entry to a competition, it usually occurs before all competitors in the main draw have started their first match in the tournament. Alexander Sadecky
Alexander Sadecky (born 6 July 1987 in Zürich) is a professional tennis player from Switzerland who entered professional play in 2006. Of Czech ancestry, his coach is ''Dirk de Beus'' (since 2008). He has regularly competed on the Challenger and Futures tour circuit. He has reached the final of seven Futures tournaments; in five of these he was victorious. Matwé Middelkoop (; born 3 September 1983) is a Dutch professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. Tomislav Brkić (; born 9 March 1990) is a Bosnian professional tennis player. Brkić achieved a career-high in doubles of World No. 40 on 17 January 2022. Mirza Bašić (; born 12 July 1991) is a Bosnian professional tennis player. He has won one ATP singles title at the 2018 Sofia Open and is a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Davis Cup team. Grega Žemlja (born 29 September 1986) is a retired Slovenian tennis player. He has won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour. In 2012, he reached the third round of the US Open, the first Slovenian male player ever to reach that stage in a Grand Slam tournament. He is also the first Slovenian ATP player who in 2013 reached third round at Wimbledon. Conor Niland (born 19 September 1981) is an Ireland, Irish former professional tennis player. He was born in Birmingham, England, and grew up in Limerick, Ireland. He attended St. Nessan's National School in Mungret, Limerick, before moving on to Crescent College, Crescent College Comprehensive in Dooradoyle, Limerick. He was the highest ranked Irish tennis player during his career. He played for the Ireland Davis Cup team from 2000 to 2012. Andreas Beck (; born 5 February 1986) is a German former professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 33 in November 2009.
