The 2011 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic was an annual curling bonspiel that was held from September 15 to 18 at the Brockville Country Club in Brockville, Ontario as part of the 2011–12 World Curling Tour. The purse for the men's and women's events was CAD$40,700 and CAD$16,400, respectively. Brockville
Brockville, formerly Elizabethtown, is a city in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in the Thousand Islands region. A bonspiel is a curling tournament, consisting of several games, often held on a weekend. Until the 20th century most bonspiels were held outdoors, on a frozen freshwater loch. Today almost all bonspiels are held indoors on specially prepared artificial ice. Serge Reid
Serge Reid (born c. 1963) is a Canadian curler from Jonquière, Quebec. Reid is the defending provincial champion skip for Quebec. He and his team of François Gionest, Simon Collin and Steeve Villeneuve won their first provincial championship in 2010. This qualified them for the 2010 Tim Hortons Brier, where they were an unknown team to many of the other competitors. However, they won five of their eleven games, a respectable finish. Sarnia
Sarnia is a city in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. It had a 2021 population of 72,047, and is the largest city on Lake Huron. Sarnia is located on the eastern bank of the junction between the Upper and Lower Great Lakes where Lake Huron flows into the St. Clair River in the Southwestern Ontario region, which forms the Canada–United States border, directly across from Port Huron, Michigan. Jamie Danbrook
Jamie Danbrook (born June 5, 1988, in Vernon, British Columbia) is a Canadian curler. Career Junior career: British Columbia & P.E.I. Danbrook won three provincial junior titles for two different provinces. In 2005 and 2008, he won the British Columbia junior titles. In 2005 playing second for Tyrel Griffith and in 2008 playing lead for Jay Wakefield. The 2005 team went 4–8 at the 2005 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. In 2008, the team went 5-7 at nationals. That year Danbrook moved to Prince Edward Island where he joined the Brett Gallant rink as lead. The team won the P.E.I. junior championship and the 2009 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Steve Bice
Stephen "Steve" Bice (born October 5, 1981 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian curling, curler from Milton, Ontario. He is currently the alternate for his brother Mark Bice, Mark's rink. Career Bice was a former alternate on Glenn Howard's team. The 2007 Ontario Men's Curling Championship took place in Bice's hometown of Sarnia. Bice was on the spare list, and when Howard's second Brent Laing had to leave the tournament because his wife was giving birth, Bice was picked up to play on the team. The team won the provincials, and he was kept for the 2007 Tim Hortons Brier, which the team also won. He capped off the season by winning the 2007 Ford World Men's Curling Championship. Bice would remain on as alternate for the 2008 Tim Hortons Brier, 2008, 2009 Tim Hortons Brier, 2009 and 2010 Tim Hortons Briers. He threw just a combined 17 shots in all four Briers. Codey Maus
Codey Maus (born November 16, 1985 in Owen Sound, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Tara, Ontario. Maus is a three-time provincial junior champion and one-time provincial mixed champion. Career Juniors Maus won his first provincial junior title in 2002, playing third for the Jeff Armstrong rink. The team represented Ontario at the 2002 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The team finished the event with a 5-7 record, in 10th place. Maus won another provincial junior title in 2005, playing third for Mark Bice. The team would go on to win a silver medal at the 2005 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Maus won his third provincial junior title in 2006. Maus skipped a rink consisting of Jeff Grant, Al Stahl and Bill Francis to the provincial championship, and represented Ontario at the 2006 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Mark Bice
Mark Bice (born October 10, 1984 in Sarnia, Ontario) is a Canadian curler. He used to skip a team on the World Curling Tour. Career Bice had a fairly successful junior career. Bice is a two time provincial junior champion, winning in 2003 and 2005 and was a provincial schoolboy champion in 2002. In 2003, his rink of Mike Callan, Rob Pruliere and Jeff Wilson finished with a 7-5 record at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships- out of the playoffs. In 2005, they went to the Canadian Juniors again, this time with Codey Maus replacing Callan. The team finished second after the round robin with a 9-3 record. After defeating Ian Fitzner-LeBlanc's Nova Scotia rink in the semi-final, Bice lost in the final match, against Saskatchewan's Kyle George. Brantford
Brantford ( 2021 population: 104,688) is a city in Ontario, Canada, founded on the Grand River in Southwestern Ontario. It is surrounded by Brant County, but is politically separate with a municipal government of its own that is fully independent of the county's municipal government.
