2011 2000 Guineas Stakes
The 2011 2000 Guineas Stakes was the 203rd running of the 2000 Guineas Stakes horse race. It was run over one mile at Newmarket Racecourse on 30 April 2011. This race was the sixth of Frankel's unbeaten 14 race winning streak, his second win as a 3-year-old and his second Group 1 victory, following his victory in the Dewhurst Stakes at the same racecourse in 2010. Rerouted was entered into the race primarily to act as a pacemaker to the highly promising Frankel, however with Frankel being drawn in stall number one and Rerouted in stall number thirteen, the opposite side of the Rowley Mile racecourse at Newmarket, the pacemaking job was almost rendered obsolete. Such was Frankel's pace that he drew clear from the field from the off, pacemaker and all. 2,000 Guineas Stakes
The 2000 Guineas Stakes is a Group 1 flat race in Great Britain open to three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is run on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket over a distance of 1 mile (1.6 km) and scheduled to take place each year at the start of May. It is one of Britain's five Classic races, and at present it is the first to be run in the year. It also serves as the opening leg of the Triple Crown, followed by the Derby and the St Leger, although the feat of winning all three has been rarely attempted in recent decades. Martin Dwyer
Martin Joseph Dwyer (born 28 June 1975 in Aintree, Liverpool, Merseyside) is a retired English jockey who competed in flat racing, winning the 2006 Epsom Derby on Sir Percy and the 2003 Epsom Oaks on Casual Look. Career Dwyer, who was born in Liverpool, was apprenticed to trainer Ian Balding in Kingsclere, Hampshire. His first winner was Susquehanna Days at Warwick on 9 July 1993 and his first Group race winner was Halmahera in the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes in 1997. Mahmood Al Zarooni
Mahmood Al Zarooni (born October 16, 1975) is an Emirati horse-racing trainer at the Godolphin horse-racing operation along with Saeed bin Suroor. He was born in Dubai, and became trainer on 24 March 2010, before the Dubai World Cup meeting. His first winner was Calming Influence, who won the Godolphin Mile. On 22 April 2013, the British Horseracing Authority disclosed that 11 horses trained by Mahmood al-Zarooni tested positive for anabolic steroids. He admitted being in breach of the rules of racing. All 11 horses were banned from racing and Mahmood al-Zarooni faced disciplinary charges. On 25 April 2013, he was banned from racing for eight years. Lanfranco "Frankie" Dettori (; born 15 December 1970), is an Italian jockey who was based in England for a career spanning over 35 years. Casamento (20 March 2008 – 21 February 2020) was an Irish-bred Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. As a two-year-old in 2010 he was one of the best colts of his generation in Ireland, finishing second in the National Stakes before winning the Beresford Stakes and the Racing Post Trophy. Robert Havlin (born December 1973), usually known as Rab Havlin, is a Group 1-winning Scottish jockey, who predominantly rides for the John Gosden stable.
