The Oberliga Hamburg, sometimes referred to as ''Hamburg-Liga'', is the highest league in the Germany, German States of Germany, state of Hamburg, incorporating some of its surrounding districts. It is one of fourteen Oberliga (football), Oberligen in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. FC Eintracht Norderstedt 03 () is a German football club based in Norderstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, currently playing in the Regionalliga Nord (IV). History The team was founded in 1945 as ''SV Eintracht Garstedt'', which joined ''1. SC Norderstedt'' in 1972. ''1. SC'' was established just two years earlier on 7 January 1970 as ''Tanzportverein Norderstedt''. The football department split from the club in 2003 to create ''FC Eintracht Norderstedt 03''. Playing as ''1. SC'', the footballers were part of the Amateuroberliga Nord (III) for seven seasons from 1987 to 1994. The 2009–10 Regionalliga season was the sixteenth since its re-establishment after German reunification and the second as a fourth-level league within the German football league system. It was contested in three divisions with eighteen teams each. The competition began on 7 August 2008 with the first matches of each division and ended on 29 May 2010. 2011–12 Regionalliga
The 2011–12 Regionalliga season was the eighteenth season of the Regionalliga since its re-establishment after German reunification and the fourth as a fourth-level league within the German football league system. It was contested in three regional divisions. The season began on 8 August 2011 and ended on 20 May 2012. The champions of each division was promoted to the 2012–13 3. Liga. This tier of the German league pyramid was expanded to five divisions for the 2012–13 season. No team was relegated to a lower level on competitionally aspects at the end of the season. Teams A total of 55 teams will compete in three geographical divisions (North, West and South); the North and South circuits will comprise 18 sides each, while the West division was expanded to 19 teams.
